One the BEST massages I had. The deep tissue/therapeutic option did not disappoint. Mike worked out several knots in my back and really dug in. I can’t wait to come back. Hands down (pun intended?) one of THE BEST massages I’ve ever had – Mike is a miracle worker. This is not a frou-frou, massage; Mike gets to WORK. I can never seem to find anyone who truly does “deep tissue,” and Mike does just that. Knots unknotted, angry tight muscles tamed. I actually left that afternoon feeling MORE energized and went back to work to work a few more hours with energy and focus. Will 1000% be adding more appointments here to my calendar!

He really personalizes his treatment to target areas where you need the work and still manages to give you a full body experience even when you only have a hour… although I prefer longer. In a resort area where many therapists just give a standard massage, it is wonderful to find someone truly passionate about giving an exceptional service. Booked an appointment because I was having some lower back pain from a workout. Mike was incredible. He immediately makes you feel at ease, while taking the time to talk about your problem areas. The facility was very clean, organized and tastefully decorated. I immediately felt time melt away. He was strong and used different methods of heat during the massage to get deeper into the muscles. He kindly reminded me to breathe during uncomfortable times. My back already feels better and I cannot wait to tackle my next workout. Massages will definitely become the norm to compliment my CrossFit workouts. I highly recommend Back in Balance!

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI just had my first ever massage, Magic Mike- I decided to call him that because he truly does magic with his hands!- took care of all the knots I’ve had for a long time, I couldn’t even move my neck to the sides, he found muscles that I didn’t know they existed and got them knots free, that part hurt just a little because they’ve been there for years, but then his warm oiled hands drawing waves all over my back, plus the warm stones, and don’t forget the awesome massages on my neck, legs and feet. Mike is just incredible at what he does. He is the only person who has given me a massage that I have seen major improvements from. He uses unique techniques and I feel refreshed for weeks afterward. I have seen several people to help my upper back and shoulders and I achieved the most relief from his massage. Highly reccommend!!!
