Simply put, Barb is amazing. It was my first time doing a Sports Massage, not really sure what I was getting myself into, but Barb made me feel comfortable and gave simple instructions. It was different than other massages I’ve gotten in the past, more movement and interaction than a traditional massage. Barb was super knowledgeable and helped get my back feeling like it should. I’d recommend her and Back in Balance to anyone! Also $20 off first time customers so you really can’t go wrong if you’re looking to try this place out!

I came here after a friend recommended it and I was a little nervous because it was the first massage I’ve ever had, but lately I’ve had neck and back problems that have been affecting how I sleep and work. I wasn’t sure how much a massage would help but I’m so glad I went to see. I got a deep tissue massage from Kelli and I’ve never felt better. My back feels great and the stiffness in my neck is completely gone. She did such a great job and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming to her again and I recommend others doing the same

I have been going to Back in Balance massage therapy for a few years now and it’s always been great. I recently met Kayla and she has done my last two massages, deep tissue massages and her hands and techniques are amazing she has incredibly strong hands and does a wonderful job. The entire staff is very friendly and the place is spotless with soft music in the background and wisps in the air is truly an amazing place. I went to Back in Balance on June 21st for a massage as I was experiencing some neck and shoulder pain. Karissa was my therapist and overall she seemed very friendly! I explained the type of pain I was experiencing and the overall stress from moving, working in healthcare and going through nursing school. I’ve had massages before and I was always so relaxed and felt great after. Karissa did check to see if I was doing okay a few times throughout my 60 minute massage but never checked to see how the pressure was throughout the massage, she also seemed to pause a lot while giving the massage. She was working on my left shoulder blade area and it was quite painful. After the massage she explained I had a couple small knots and some trigger points. She explained I may experience some soreness and redness in that area. As the day went on I could barely lay down as that part of my back was so tender and felt swollen. I woke up the following morning with some bruising on my back, and i have never bruised from a massage before. The business itself was clean, and the ambience was calming. But I unfortunately will not be back.
