I am an actress in television. My appearance is part of my profession. For years I looked at people with lash extensions with envy. But I was cautious and wanted to see what the long term results were of having them. Also, I saw a lot of women with them that looked snarled and overly ‘fake’ looking. I did my research. I stopped women in public when I saw them and asked them about their maintenance routine for them. I went to lash salons inspecting their spaces for hygienic practices and procedures. After my roughly three years of research, I decided it was time. Then I set about to find the lash artist for me. I wanted it to look natural, or at least plausibly natural! Glamorous but not heavy-handed and ‘bougie’. Well, I do believe I found the BEST lash artist in the state! Diana has many years of experience. She’s been doing lashes since before they were the hot trend they are now. And those years of experience are worth their weight in gold! She is meticulous, yet fluid in her application. She is a true artist and takes her work very seriously. I get compliments ALL the time and when I tell them I have extensions they ask who did them because they don’t look like the rest of them!

Julia is an amazing esthetician, I have had multiple services done by her which include facials, chemical peels and eyelash extensions. No matter what service she has provided I have been totally pleased and love the results. Before finding Babydoll Boutique I went to a high end spa in Morris Plains and I have to say my facials by Julia at Babydoll were by far the best I have ever received. I now go for lashes and I love them! I never use mascara and I get so many compliments! It makes my eyes look bigger and many say I look younger. Which is always a compliment anyone will accept. After waiting 40 minutes for a full eyelash extension set, I was told that my master stylist thought that my appointment was at noon instead of 10am despite verifying my appointment over the phone the day before. The woman at the desk pretty much told me that it is their electronic system’s fault and the company needs to upgrade. This situation could have been remedied had someone called the stylist after I submitted my paperwork once they notice she was not on the premises. To sweeten the blow, I was offered to wait the additional hour for my facial peel. It’s evident that this business does not respect nor value their client’s time which is a real shame since I was looking for a place I can get regular aesthetic services from.
