Once upon a time Babi nails had 3 locations– for good reason. Fast forward to 2021 where they have a sliver of their previously spacious Glen Cove location. Spa pedicure price ($50-$70) are higher and the quality is lower. Super hot water, super cold water, lady watching movies on her phone versus facilitating communication while my pedicurist stares at me blankly. Massage was fair, callous treatment very short, and the hot stones rushed.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueHad a great pedi by John! I got a 20min back massage on the whim and it felt so good. I haven’t had a massage in over a year just from being super careful & realized I had so many knots after John massaged them out. I was surprised and also appreciate that shoes are sprayed with alcohol before entering because that’s what I do at home! haha! I thought I was the only nutjob that does that. Anyway, thanks! I haven’t had a massage in over a year just from being super careful & realized I had so many knots after John massaged them out. I was surprised and also appreciate that shoes are sprayed with alcohol before entering because that’s what I do at home! haha! I thought I was the only nutjob that does that. Anyway, thanks! So many salons to choose from in Glen Cove, I’d make this your last resort. The staff is ok, but my gel nails chipped after 2 days and my pedicure chipped after 4 days. They are way over priced, especially for such low quality services. The owner, John, is awful – very rude and unprofessional. He told me my services would be one price, and when it came time to pay he had tacked on an additional $25. He yelled at me in front of everyone at the salon when I asked why it was $25 more than what he told me. I’ve never received such horrible customer service – when I told the owner that he said I wasn’t a customer… Mentioned it to some family and friends, they had just as bad if not worse experiences there with the owner and staff being rude. Just not worth it, I will never go back!

I went in to get a spa pedicure and gel manicure! Well let me tell you. I had a Rose Spa pedicure with a 15min massage and then a hot stone massage (amazing). My gel manicure was very nice and well done. The part that bumped this up to 5 stars was the back massage at the end. That massage gave me my whole life! I believe I’ve found my nail home

I would not recommend this place. My nails chipped the very next day I live 5 hours away and was just going there since I was in town for a party. This was my first time there and will be my last. I called the owner and told him I have pictures. I spend $95 on my nails toes eyes and lips and left a $24 tip. I asked the man who answered the phone if he could refund my nails as they didn’t even last 24 hours and it was gel. He told me to come back and he said he would fix it. I explained that I live 5 hours away he said the next time I am there I should come and he will fix it. I have never been to glen cove before and don’t think I’m going back for a while. He then told me to send the picture and then said oh wait I don’t have a phone for you to send it to. He was unwilling to reasonably help me and come to a compromise. I’m out about $120 on all of this and it was the WORST in my opinion.

Went for the first time today, overall the experience was good. Was a little disappointed that I didn’t get a massage after my manicure was complete. I will definitely go back.
