I’ve gone to this location three times now. In my first experience it was day before I was leaving for my wedding. I wanted a simple pedicure and a simple dip powder. I had dip on my nails previously so they decided to soak off the powder with acetone. Not an uncommon process for me. The problem I had was that they kept the foils on my nails for 45 minutes so the few nails that I had that had tips on them were completely destroyed. My biggest problem was they were so focused on taking care of everybody else before finishing a job with anybody. One girl was doing at least three people. I never had the same girl doing my pedicure or my nails. All three times I’ve been there they would rush through the process of doing my nails that they would either nick me with a nail file, Nick me with the drill more than once, or as I asked them to cut my nails shorter clip my finger skin at the same time. The last time I went there I sat around and watched them start and finish many other clients before ever finishing my nails as they sat in foils for over 45 minutes, again. I started to take the clips off my nails because my fingers were starting to burn and hurt. They then told me I had to click keep the clips on. I told him it’s been 45 minutes and I did not want them on anymore. By the time somebody got to me I told him I needed to get going because this was taking too long. I had already been at the salon for 90 minutes. They really need to focus on finishing the clients that show up and if you can’t take somebody ask them to come back which is what they asked me to do in the morning when I showed up. And I gladly did that. But then when someone shows up for their scheduled appointment you should accommodate them and get them done. On top of that every time I get into a massage chair it never works. I rarely ever write reviews but this experience really just upset me because it didn’t happen once or twice but three times. Unfortunately although it’s conveniently close to my house I will never be coming back to this salon.

So I’m not sure if they were upset that I only wanted my dip powder removed, but the job was done in a huge rush, very carelessly. My nails are jagged (not a huge deal, I can file them at home) but the irritating part is that they didn’t even fully remove the dip powder. *update, it’s been a month and I’m still having to cut my nails as short as possible because they’re peeling and still very weak* The nail tech used a heavy duty nail file with a super heavy hand to file off the dip powder (and my freaking nails, in the process) instead of just removing it fully with acetone. My nails are thinner and more damaged than I have ever seen them. 🙁

I arrived with an appointment but when I got there they gave my appointment away. I sat there and waited for an open spot and they gave the person that arrived after me a spot before me. I was not late to my appointment I was on time I had and I had to wait an extra 30 minutes. When I was finally seated the woman rushed my nails and did an awful job. She kept telling me that she couldn’t take time to do my nails because she was doing another person‘s nails. She handed me over to another person that worked that she said didn’t know how to do acrylic. The woman that didn’t know how to do my nails tried to do a French tip but couldn’t make the line strain because the tip was a pointed tip. I told her that she could do a filled tip and she painted the whole nail instead. This all took around an hour and a half at that point I was done and I just wanted to get out of there. When the lady finished a lot of my nails unpainted in the crevices of my nail we’re also unpainted. My nail had an uneven surface they were crooked and they were lumpy. Overall was an awful experience and would not go back there again.

Kim was my nail tech and she was absolutely amazing, super friendly, super funny and she slayed my nails. I wish I lived here so I can come back regularly but I definitely will be back anytime I am here in Washington. They are wonderful here! Will definitely take the time to make sure you’re comfortable and happy with your nails. They took great care of our huge group of 6 people and we didn’t feel rushed at all. My aunt said it was the best massage she’s ever gotten at a nail place. I highly recommend!
