I haven’t had my hair cut in years and stopped dying/bleaching it a year ago. I needed the dead ends cut bad. I was worried about finding a salon that would do what I wanted and not go scissor happy with my hair as I wanted to keep as much of my length as possible although I knew it was my own fault how bad it needed a big chop from so many years of damage. Bowen was very professional, patient, and friendly. He kept me informed every step of the way and made me feel comfortable. He knows what he’s doing and takes his time to make sure he got every split/dead end. I would highly recommend him and look forward to going back if I ever need another cut. My hair came out looking wonderful! I love the style he put together for me and my hair feels very heathy and bouncier. The salon is very clean, new and beautiful as well. The shampoo girl does a good job and I love the chair for washing your hair. It’s very modern and comfortable compared to other places where you have to lean back and sometimes they get you wet. This place is . Price is higher than what I’m used to paying for a haircut but I would say it was worth it as he did an immaculate job and spent a lot of time fixing my hair.

Coloring my hair for the first time and it came out perfect! Ive always wanted pastel pink hair but was worried how it would turn out since I’ve never colored my hair before. But Bowen takes the time to explain and recommend what color and tones I should go with to reach the pink I wanted and keep it long lasting. Colors came out beautiful and They are very meticulous with their work. Also helped me keep my length when I went for a haircut! I had extremely long hair and was so tired of the weight but I couldn’t give up the length, I’ve had bad experiences with other salons telling me I have to make a big chop. But again he really takes the time to listen to what you want and shows you what he’s doing so I felt very comfortable when he fixed my hair up and styled it perfectly for me to manage. Overall I’m happy to find such a high quality and welcoming salon to take care of my hair!

Omg guys, I went in with a head that looked like a and came out looking fantastic. Bowen has magic in his hands and shears. The guy is SO talented and he has 18+ years of experience cutting hair. I literally asked him to do whatever he liked and he strove to find a haircut that fit my face. He is actually passionate about cutting your hair!!! ALSO he opened his shop >30 mins early because I had a hair emergency!!!! Yall this man is a blessing to the Stony Brook community. Do yourself a favor and go see him. You will NOT be disappointed
