I ABSOLUTELY HATE MY HAIR!!!! I wanted spring twist (shoulder length) and I received twist that were not full to my neck. I showed A picture of what I wanted and didn’t get anything close to what I asked for! I did mention to the stylist that I didn’t like it, but I still ended up having to pay the total price. I WILL NOT BE BACK THERE! $180.00 for this

First off the name B.A.D is an understatement! Should’ve listened to the reviews! These people are toxic. Late, don’t do Quality work, and just read the replies to the customers reviews who’ve had a bad experience here! Oh noooooooooo! I’ll travel to another country to get hair done before I’d ever step foot in this place again! Save your money!

When I arrived on time, I waited 30min for someone to show up, when she did, she asked me if I was there for a consultation. I said “no, I have an appointment.” She then told me my hair was not long enough to twist and that I should wait a month and come back. My reply was that it was long enough and that my hair is very curly. She brought me over to the chair and then told me my hair was too soft. I guess she couldn’t tell that I had just conditioned my hair ( which she did not ask) She then told me my hair would just come out once it’s washed..I replied that you don’t wash them until it’s locked anyway. She even twisted some of my hair and still said it wasn’t long enough. At this point, I was confused because I had just taken some braids out of my head and the woman who scheduled my appointment specifically asked me if my hair was long enough to braid. I don’t know if she was the owner or the person my appointment was with (V) because she never introduced herself to me. I’m new to the area and was looking for someone to lock my hair and obviously she was not trying to work that day!! I am completely turned off with this salon. Thanks for wasting my time

Anita is truly an amazing legend. She’s professional polite and most importantly, she’s beyond experienced in natural hair care. She’s extremely passionate and as a client in every touch of my hair she makes it shows. She uses top of the line products and has been in business for over 20+years. She has also previously staffed and trained several small locally owned business owners as well as professional workers in the cosmetology field in the city of Richmond and surrounding areas. This is the place to go if your looking for someone who cares about obtaining and maintaining your natural hair and reaching your hair goals. I highly recommend her and B.A.D natural hair care studio.
