While prepping my nails for the acrylic, the man knicked my cuticles that were not trimmed or pushed back to begin with as I expected it to be done as every other salon I’ve gone to has trimmed them. It started bleeding and he kept rubbing my cuticle with his thumb. On the same finger he sliced right next to the nail so it is very uncomfortable. I also asked for a rounded square shape which everyone I have talked to about nails knows about. He wasn’t familiar so I explained what it was and he said okay and proceeded to do the shape that he wanted: almond. I know that almond does not look good on my fingers and it looks even worse when short. After the acrylic dried and he was done buffing, the acrylic was still very bumpy and I didn’t realize until I got in the car. I said that I didn’t want gel because I’ve had bad experiences in the past with it but they insisted upon it and I didn’t want to fight anymore. The gel was peeling off, another thing I didn’t notice until the car. I was still charged the full amount of $50 even though I was bleeding from multiple spots. The only reason they’re getting 2 stars from me is because I went back in and told them that there were issues after about a minute of being in the car. Ruby did redo my nails and they look better. She was also being very nice and complimenting me but it was in order for me to not be mad about the experience. She gave me a $15 certificate for next time, however it is useless to me because there will not be a next time. I’ve included pictures from a few days after so my fingers had time to heal. If you do go, specifically ask for Ruby.

I didn’t even want to write a bad review because the woman who did my nails was such a sweetheart, but my experience was so bad I feel like I have to. First she insisted I got a new set rather than a fill and my nails were ripped off and it hurt SO BAD. Clearly they weren’t ready to come off. Usually I’m okay with a little pain getting my nails done but this was unbearable. Then the new set was cut way too short, I had acrylic powder all over my fingers, and they were painted super far away from my cuticle. It looks like they are two weeks grown out already. Unfortunately I didn’t realize they were this bad until I was already done with my appointment so it was too late to fix them.

Ruby, the owner, did my nails. She was very kind. I showed her a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like. She did an awesome job. The previous place that did my nails shaped them crooked and she fixed that without even making them shorter. I honestly look forward to coming back!

Tony did my nails. He was in a hurry, and had everything done in less than 20 minutes. He didn’t ask, just squared some nails off and left others more rounded. They are uneven. Used a dremel to push back cuticles, causing one to bleed, one to have skin pulled up and is red, sore but not bleeding, and one is sore. Apologized, but continued. After the dips were on, he trimmed cuticles. He cut me rather badly on the second cuticle. He apologized and cut one more cuticle then stopped. Then told me my cuticles were too thick. He did not trim the other 7 cuticles. A lady then looked and said my skin is too thin. Never had a problem before in other salons regarding my cuticles. There is no problem with my cuticles. No discount for cutting me and making me bleed on two fingers, only apologies. He was just in a hurry and was covering for cutting me twice. Will not go back.

I got my nails done at a different salon and was extremely unhappy with the results. I came into Azone immediately after in hopes of getting them fixed. Ruby did an amazing job! She shaped and filed my nails to perfection! I showed her a picture of the Christmas themed nails I wanted. The end result was absolutely GORGEOUS! The place itself was very clean and welcoming.
