I was impressed because upon request, she removed the alkaline from the hair she used with me (I’m allergic), and was very gentle with the braiding process. I visited this shop for the first time in 10/2020. Ayo did a wonderful job on my braids. I was impressed because upon request, she removed the alkaline from the hair she used with me (I’m allergic), and was very gentle with the braiding process. This was the first time I did not require a pain reliever after being braided. Ayo is my new go-to for braids.

I was looking for a shop that i didn’t have to drive all the way to Chicago for and i found Ayo and i don’t regret it. She is very nice and professional and did a great job on my Hair. I’m currently trying to rebook just for a touch up since it still looks good and i can go for another month At lease. Book with her. I got waist length box braids on January 6th 2021 and here it is the 15th of March and I’m still getting compliments on my hair. I was looking for a shop that i didn’t have to drive all the way to Chicago for and i found Ayo and i don’t regret it. She is very nice and professional and did a great job on my Hair. I’m currently trying to rebook just for a touch up since it still looks good and i can go for another month At lease. Book with her. You won’t be disappointed.

This was probably the cleanest salon I have ever been to. There was plenty of hand sanitizer and wipes available. The lady cleaned the chair before I sat in it. There was also candy and water available. I thought that it was a nice touch. The lady was about 5 minutes late, but I didn’t care because things come up. She got started on my hair right away. There were two ladies working on my hair and they were finished in four hours. My edges are long, but she was still able to leave some hair out. She didn’t braid every string of hair, and It is not tight at all. It just feels and looks amazing. These ladies really know how to braid, and it seems like they really care about protecting edges and hair. I went to Ayo yesterday to get the knotless box braids for the first time. I had an amazing experience. This was probably the cleanest salon I have ever been to. There was plenty of hand sanitizer and wipes available. The lady cleaned the chair before I sat in it. There was also candy and water available. I thought that it was a nice touch. Camilla had me in and out in less than 4 hours. She is fast yet gentle. Both Ayo and Camilla are sweet and welcoming. No edge loss when I removed my braids.
