I’m a bit picky about my bangs and am not the best communicator on how I want it to look but Della was patient and helpful and most of all, did a great job! She really took her time to do a good job rather than rush me out like I’ve had happen before at other salons. Everyone was friendly as well, which is always appreciated. I will be coming back!

I got a root touch up and wanted to go a little lighter with my hair which my stylist said was totally doable. I left with my hair in braids but when I took them out I noticed my hair was uneven in several areas. I contacted my stylist to come back in for a touch up and she said she was surprised that I hadn’t asked for a redo sooner (who lets someone leave with hair they know needs to be fixed?). After my touch up it was a little better but still not what I wanted and not what I asked for. To my surprise they charged me to fix their mistake, even knowing I was still unhappy with it. If you have long or thick hair, know that you will be charged $30 for each extra bowl of color.

Amazing place to get your hair cut. Janey did a wonderful job on my hair, she was awesome at explaining her products and not making you feel obligated or overwhelmed. Definitely going back again! Would absolutely recommend!

I went into this salon for the first time using a Groupon. The owner Janay meet with me and I felt very comfortable with our consultation. I showed her a photo and we talk about wanting blood highlights and I was very descriptive and concerned with the length I wanted my hair cut to. She even acknowledged my concern by saying we can cut off a little and go from there. Needless to say she did my hair exactly the way she wanted. My hair was less blond than went I went into the salon. She charged me $20 extra for a toner to soften my blond. It made in much darker and I was not happy. To top it all of my hair was about two inches shorter than the picture I had shown her. I was very upset with the results. I would never go back there again. The normal cost for this sreview is about $160 without the Groupon. I had medium length hair that I would now call a semi-short bob.I will pay good money to have my hair look good but this is on the very expensive side. I am sorry that she did not listen to what I wanted and I guess my hair will be the length I want it to be in 2 months. : (

Brook was amazing and did a wonderful job on my hair, I have already received several compliments. However, I also purchased a groupon and the lady that was doing it seemed very inexperienced. She’s 21 and said she worked for Waxing In The City previously but I wasn’t able to pick up on prior experience. She melted the wax three times and it was super hot, then it wouldn’t come off my skin and she was having trouble taking it off, she told me she was done with my legs and there are tons of patches where didn’t even attempt to wax the hair and I was supposed to do a Brazilian but it was an awful experience that I didn’t even want to continue it. I came home and I have tons of wax stuck all over me as well as my left knee wasn’t even waxed, most of my left and right thigh wasn’t waxed and my lower legs are patchy. She kept leaving the room to get more sticks and would just open the door while I’m laying there uncovered. I didn’t want to give a 1 because of Brook but if I was just rating the wax it would of been 1, waste of money on the Groupon, didn’t end up getting my legs and Brazilian. I would go back for the hair appointment with Brook but I would not go back for the wax.

They can cut hair but they can’t run a business. My first impression was bad. I called to schedule an appointment. I showed up and they confused me with someone else. Someone ended up deleting my appointment. They were nice and apologized and had another available person cut my hair. I understand mistakes can be made. The second time I decide to do a walk-in. I show up at 11am on Thursday, posted hours on google maps, and there is NO ONE there. I waited until 11:15 to see if someone would show up, nothing. I knocked on both doors and there was no note indicating their hours or if someone couldn’t make it in today.
