I gave it a 2 star rating because the only thing I enjoyed from my visit was the friendliness from the lady who did my pedicure. I booked an appt for 2 pedicures. When we arrived it was only one lady as the other didn’t show. Did I receive notice? Nope. Not one phone call. Therefore I was there for 2 hours. Yet this business requires a 24 hour notice if you can’t make your appt. Moving on to the services we had done. 2 of the 25.00 “basic” pedicure which I could’ve done at home. All we did was soak our feet. Apply a scrub, massage and paint. In my opinion of someone who gets frequent pedicures, the most important thing for me is the clipping of the toe nails and cuticles. But again I paid 25.00 for something I could’ve easily done myself at home. Last but not least the lady who serviced us was very fun, polite, energetic which is something you don’t get at most nail salons however her nails we so long. I feel she could’ve done a better job had she not of had her nails in the way.

I love the casual, friendly atmosphere of Awakenings. It’s quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Not all the hustle and bustle of other salons. Great place to unwind while you beautify. I love the personal one on one service. They make you feel like family while you’re there. Not only is the customer service wonderful but the quality of their work is exceptional. My nails always come out beautifuI and they last longer than anywhere else I’ve ever had them done! The owner, Rene, is always fun to visit with and you can really tell she works hard and puts her all into her business. She’s a go-get’er for sure! I refuse to go anywhere else in town! Awesome spa with an extensive variety of services. I highly recommend Awakenings Day Spa for all your beautifying and relaxation needs!

Phenomenal massages… whether it’s a couples massage, single, hot stone, aromatherapy, 30 minutes or 60, it’s always a FANTASTIC experience! I’ve also gotten wonderful lash extensions and pedicures.
