I booked a quick consultation with Allison W. for a haircut (I specifically booked with Allison because she is also styling my hair for my wedding). She took all of my needs and worries into consideration so I felt comfortable to book an appointment. They got me in the very next day and I am absolutely pleased. Allison cut my hair exactly how I wanted and I am very picky but she hit it spot on! My hair feels so great! Also, the salon was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Avola Lanza was an amazing choice for myself and my bridal party. Allison, the stylist, arrived at my home (this was our getting ready location) early to be fully prepared and set up prior to the first appointment time we had scheduled for the morning. After my bridal hair trial, I was very confident that Allison would be able to make anything possible with bridal party hair requests. Allison took her time and paid close attention to detail, but was also very attentive and efficient to our set schedule for the day. Our wedding day ended up having some rain, but our hair stayed beautiful throughout the evening. Something that I appreciated about Allison is that she truly allowed for the bridal party to spend quality time together prior to the wedding ceremony and allowed for the flow of the day to be focused on myself and the bridal party!

Allison is a life saver! My regular stylist canceled last minute the day before I was going on vacation, and I was desperately searching for a salon in the entire city with walk-in availability for a full highlight and haircut (a basically impossible feat). Lucky for me she had a cancellation that evening, and was able to fit me in. I had around 4 inches of growth since my hair was last highlighted, and she definitely delivered! The salon owner was also just as welcoming and friendly. It’s worth noting that parking in this strip mall is very limited, so plan ahead for that. Thanks again Allison for saving my vacation!

I’ve been to Avola for both hair and nails. Brooke did a fantastic job with my platinum blonde while also keeping my hair healthy. Katherine did my nails for Valentine’s day and they were also absolutely fantastic. I had a great experience for both hair and nails! If you’re a blonde and trying to find somewhere new, I’d definitely recommend going to Brooke as she did a fantastic job. It’s always stressful trying a new salon when you’re blonde, but I am glad I did!

I have been going here for almost 10 years now. This salon is my tried and true. I have strayed elsewhere here and there, but the experience never matches with Avola Lanza! I am constantly recommending them. I use to see Natalie before she decided to go elsewhere. Since then, I have been seeing Brooke and I ADORE her! From her personality, all the way to her techniques. She is an absolute natural! I just recently got a full highlight from her, to give my hair some more dimension. I’m a redhead, so I was a little nervous, because I knew the result could either be underwhelming or overwhelming. Her confidence and excitement alone, is what gave me the confidence to go ahead and do it. I absolutely love it and my hair is absolutely how I imagined it!

I went into Avola Lanza with a serious hair fiasco. My entire hair was in a complete knot and the staff there (big shout of to Shane, Allison, Cindy, and Rachel) spent 7 straight hours to get the knot out without putting a single pair of scissors to it. I cannot explain how grateful I am for the patience and determination the staff put into my hair. I know if I went anywhere else, they’d probably just chop it off.

I was a little nervous because I didn’t know anything about this place but their Instagram looked good so I tried it. I loved this place! Inna cut my hair and gave me tips on how to help my hair breakage and things I can do to make it look thicker. She was awesome and the place was very nice. I have never been one to leave anything but positive reviews, as I don’t want to hurt any business, however, this experience was so terrible that it needs to be discussed. I came in Saturday June the 30th as a walk-in to get a gel polish removal and change. I was told they had time for me, and so, as the girl was removing my gel, it took longer than normal, but instead of allowing it to soak long enough for it to start coming off, she hastily began to scrape it off. Then, as she was painting the gel, she was doing it so quickly and sloppily that you could see the streak marks, and see through to my nail underneath. She failed to paint the sides of my nails near the skin, and the nails has been filed in such a way that they were completely jagged edges. I knew she had an appointment after me, so I didn’t say anything. Then, she accidentally used a base coat instead of a top coat, and instead of just fixing those few nails, she just put the topcoat on over it, resulting in my nails not drying. As anyone who has had or worked with gel polish knows, it shouldn’t be wet or sticky when you leave. But mine was, for about 45 minutes after. It stuck to literally everything I touched and so I called to see if my nails could be redone. I was scheduled for that next Monday.
