I don’t have enough hair left to do much more than buzz it almost out of existence, but I wish I had more only to have an excuse to spend more time around Steph and Caity, who are funny and lively and a joy to just sit and listen to as they joke with customers, adults and kids alike, and with each other. Another review notes how well this shop maintains a neighborhood barbershop feel, and I totally agree. What a pleasure!

I took my dad to my old barber shop for a quick trim. Since I decided to go with long hair it’s been over a decade since I visited Avenue Haircutters. Since I brought my dad I decided to get my beard trimmed up as well. I remember when Pete used to own and run the shop back in the day when he took it over from Nick. So imagine my surprise when I decided to get my dead ends touched up and they in turn offered to layer my hair!!! The current owner took over the shop a couple years ago. I really like the updates to the place since then. They were friendly, polite, and did an outstandingI job on both my dad and myself. I was very pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be coming back a lot more often. 🙂

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueCame in for my appointment, had a woman with dark hair cut my hair. After 8 minutes she said it was done and it was the worst hair cut I’d ever gotten. Rather than a fade you could clearly see the lines where she changed blade lengths, and the edges of my hair line had not been cleaned up at all.
