So after reading some of these reviews, I would have to say go in for yourself. Extremely talented stylist, if my coat fell on the floor I would pick it up, I wouldn’t expect anyone to pick it up for me Especially a stylist that was in the middle of a haircut. The gentleman that was getting his haircut, said 4 hours for a color, did your haircut take that long for you to even make that comment. Actually my color does take that long, with high lights and a blow dry. Oh, pricing on blow dries, I don’t know about you but I don’t like surprises. I would like to know a ball park price or the price up front, so I personally don’t think that was rude, actually I think it was more professional, rather than the bait and switch of blow dry “specials” $19.99, oh but your hair is thick and long and now that we’re done and your checking out that will be $69.99. So, if your looking for talent, a great professional consult and the haircut you’ve always wanted, then I would recommend Janine.

Janine has been my hair stylist for years. I always get compliments about the cut and shine. Prices are fare and reasonable and they will always tell you if something is going to be more than you expected before she does the work. Would not go any place else!!!!

I went to the salon for couple of times doing haircuts and blow dry. Every time I go, I set up an appointment by the phone. The last time I called, the owner answered and told me that there was a note written next to my name in the computer saying that I should pay more for blow dry because my hair is long. I was shocked and I knew immediately that their customer service is very poor. Why couldn’t she wait till I go there then she can ask for more money, I wouldn’t mind. So I called back and I cancelled my appointment.

I’ve had great custom service over the years I’ve been here and I have been here since I was a little kid. My hair has always stayed flawless the whole day after haircuts. The hair dresser gives me great tips on how to take care and manage curly hair!

Janine is a excellent hairdresser. Worth a visit I would like to apologize for the previous comment regarding the cat and urine. I was having a bad day and took it out on the wrong person. I didn’t realize that the animal hospital had just dropped off her cat.

My experience there was awesome! The owner did my hair beautifully. I’ve gotten great compliments. Plus, the clothing. I’ll go back just for that! Do not miss this place. You’ll be glad that you did not. 🙂

My wife works at the salon and she is a fantastic stylist. This is rude of these people to write these reviews at this website without even going and speaking to who ever did your hair with the complaint you may have. Likewise I think googlemaps is complacent by allowing people to post this information in an underhanded way. Those who say the internet is helping us understand things better are clearly wrong.

If you want to spend 4 Hours for a color and cut while listening to the Owner (Janine) ramble POINTLESSLY about her views on life, reading Tarot cards, bashing men and past co workers while bouncing from one customer to another while she eats her sandwich on the floor…this place is for you. Dirty, VERY unprofessional atmosphere, junkies hanging out in the Salon, and the area is TOTALLY SKETCHY….saw a MAJOR drug bust with DEA Agents involved across the street at the Richdale convenient store.
