Run! Do not go to this lady. She is rude. She stay in the hood and people were all outside smoking and drinking in front of her apartment. I felt so uncomfortable getting out of my car to walk into her nasty stinking house , only for her to have an attitude when I got there because she was running late, she yelled at me on the phone when I called her because gps took me to the back of her apartments and I’m not from here so I didn’t know how to get to the front oh and then she sat down and started helping someone else braid hair. Vibe was totally off in her house and I sat there for 20 mins watching her help braid someone else hair 2 hours after my scheduled appointment. I got up without saying a word and left, she slammed and locked the door behind me. Glad she didn’t get my money. 0/10 I don’t recommend!

On two occasions I have gotten my hair braided at Ava’s. I absolutely love their work. Multiple braiders work quickly to get my hair completed quickly. Generally the hair is provided unless you request uncommon colors. The price is expensive but fair. I’ll pay a little more to get in and out quickly.
