Avant Girl has been my go-to salon for cut, color and blowout since it opened. I am from north Jersey and was at first skeptical that I could get the same quality salon services in Margate. But I have gotten the same quality — and better — consistently. Jennifer is an exceptional colorist and stylist. I would confidently put her up against anyone from New York. Aria runs a first-class salon.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI called almost a week in advance while on my family vacation for a deva cut. I was told they had no availability until I was gone (I prefer to support local businesses). They called me back and said they had availability Sunday (smack in the middle of a gorgeous family beach day) so I stayed behind and missed the beach day. The google address took me to the wrong location so I called and was told to still come and they would wait for me. I arrived 10 minutes later and was turned away because the “next client was already coming”. You close at 4pm and I got there at 3:39. Nice try, Karen. You wasted my vacation time, my gas and my patience. I bet if I walked up with my Gucci bag like the woman walking out as I walked up, you wouldn’t have flinched. Sorely disappointed. I called almost a week in advance while on my family vacation for a deva cut. I was told they had no availability until I was gone (I prefer to support local businesses). They called me back and said they had availability Sunday (smack in the middle of a gorgeous family beach day) so I stayed behind and missed the beach day. They tried to charge me $60 for a trim off the ends and got my name wrong. I called I was running a few mins behind and as I sit down in the chair Dianne tells me she doesn’t have time. This is my second bad experience here. Last year they over charged me and left my roots orange. Today was an utter waste of time. They tried to charge me $60 for a trim off the ends and got my name wrong. I called I was running a few mins behind and as I sit down in the chair Dianne tells me she doesn’t have time.
