I was a little nervous at first …being new to the area and getting a new stylist… but after talking with her I knew she was going to do a wonderful job. I’m so happy I went here and I’ve got me a great stylist now!!!!

After years of TERRIBLE haircuts, I have consistently gotten great haircuts from multiple people, since I started coming to Avant Garde. Started by going to Rose for years until my schedule changed, but she seriously has an eye for symmetry and giving your hair that perfect shape. I seriously could give her no direction and she makes my hair fantastic. Next I saw Cassie, she gave me a beautiful short bob, that was exactly what I asked for. She is also an absolute joy to talk to. I loved my cut with Cassie, but suddenly got the urge to go shorter than I ever have. The next stylist I visited was Allie, I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she gave me the PERFECT pixie cut. I love this place and would trust any of the stylists with my hair. One thing I feel you should never skimp on, is a good haircut. After years of TERRIBLE haircuts, I have consistently gotten great haircuts from multiple people, since I started coming to Avant Garde. Started by going to Rose for years until my schedule changed, but she seriously has an eye for symmetry and giving your hair that perfect shape. I seriously could give her no direction and she makes my hair fantastic. Next I saw Cassie, she gave me a beautiful short bob, that was exactly what I asked for. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueSo I don’t live in this area but needed my hair done desperately! I scheduled a last minute appointment they have on the website. I choose cut and color because I didn’t see highlights but thought 2hrs would be long enough for the simple trim and highlights I wanted. I got there 20 mins early just to see my stylist not on the floor and didn’t come out until 2pm on the dot.. ok I didn’t mind but I proceed to show her my photo and instantly she gets an attitude and tells me she doesn’t have time which wasn’t the case Rose just didn’t know how.. ROSE proceeded to RIP the hair brush throw my hair and tell me what I’m gonna do.. so I wanted to leave as I got super uncomfortable! Rose proceeded to tell me I owe her money for the appointment when I got nothing done! She couldn’t accommodate me for a cut and color, But was willing to give me a bop?! If you can’t do a style just say you can’t… Like really I have long hair to my hips, Rose wasn’t going to touch me with scissors after how angry she was about a hair trim and color. There was one lady doing hair when all the other girls were in the back and standing up front which were to busy to do my hair which is fine but a salon with one person doing hair while others stand around is odd. They say this is high end salon when you have seven huge foil sheet boxes stacked in the front and stations that are all next to each other which makes it look like a hair school plus the rude service overwhelmed me. I was so excited coming in and left crying! HORRIBLE SERVICE DROVE 30 mins just to not get my hair done at all and deal with the most extreme attitude I’ve ever experienced.So I don’t live in this area but needed my hair done desperately!
