This place is convenient and I have given 3 different hairstylists a chance at getting it right but they just don’t know how to color blonde hair. The last stylist didn’t put 3 different colors in when doing the foils instead she put 1 color in and left me with a block color – my hair has no dimension. I went for my last time 4 weeks ago – I am not spending anymore money here. My hair is the worst it has been. I will not be going back.

So when we moved to the Wellesley/Needham area I looked closely at the women in my midst and, after six months, found a person with hair so perfectly cut I knew I could trust her stylist. That’s how I found Susan, Avante’s owner, and, later Briana, who is every bit as good. I love the relaxed, personal care I get at Avante. I should note that my husband and son (also with thick, wavy hair) have gone to Susan for 16 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
