Critical: QualityI got my nails done last Sunday, three days later I noticed them lifting. Saturday one of them popped off very easily.I got a gel full set my color was white, I was charged $55 for this, which was my first problem with this Solon. I have a mixed opinion about this salon. I got a full set done, asking for a solid, regular-polish color on all nails with a cheetah design on the ring finger nails. Nothing extravagant, and I’ve had this done several times before at other salons and never had a nail artist not do an incredible job. First off, I paid $60 total for gel polish that I did not want. Not a single artist in the salon knew how to do cheetah print, despite the 30+ intricate designs displayed at the front counter. The artists were very, very friendly and welcoming. I only waited about 20-25 minutes before getting a chair. Which was understandable and acceptable since it was a Saturday afternoon and the mall is always super packed. The artist that did my nails made sure I was comfortable, which was nice. I didn’t complain about the design and all that since the overall quality of the set is very excellent. I feel like all of this was a little difficult to make a decision with this rating, but walking up to the salon I immediately said to my boyfriend that it was the most gorgeous and elegant salon I have ever seen. (& ive been to a lot of salons!) so it was very underwhelming that my expectations weren’t met. Overall, the experience was good, although I doubt I will return.

They gave us an outrageous price for my cousin nails and both of ours was uneven and they were in a rush and did a terrible job on our nails. i wanted my nails longer than what i got my cousin wanted shorter than what she got. my actual nails are not cut right. When we were trying to tell the guy who did my cousins nails what he did wrong he kept getting mad and speaking over us. Telling us we were in the wrong and he did what she asked. This place is about to get another 1 ! Went to the nail salon this past Saturday for a gel set. I asked the woman who was doing my nails as to how long it should last; she said up to 3 weeks. 5 days later, my nails start chipping. I can’t blame the woman who did the service, she did a good job. Even gave her a tip; but after 5 days!? I should have just gotten a regular manicure!!!

So I have recently gotten my nails done at this location last Sunday It has been a week! My wife’s nails started lifting up the day after we got them done! There was no way I could come in and get it fixed, being as though we were in North Carolina for the weekend for my birthday. Two of my nails have broken and the rest just popped off like they were press ons. We paid a lot of money for something that wasn’t even worth it. I would’ve NEVER gotten my nails done here if I would’ve known it was going to end up with me wasting my money for nails I EXPECTED to last for two weeks.

I’m very disappointed in this nail salon. I have come plenty of times and payed between 70-0ver 100$ every time and recently I got my nails done for my birthday. I payed over 100$. Plus I gave the lady 10$ for tip and the guy who did my pedicure 10$ for tip. I’ve been going here since November and its been amazing no complaints. I RECCOMMENDED this place to a friend and it was her FIRST TIME ever. They did everything wrong. The nails are too thick, not the same color, designs are COMPLETELY wrong. They aren’t even attached correctly to the nail. Literally left the store and she CRIED. $65 for absolute garbage. I feel awful for having to watch my friend suffer like this.
