Upon my first visit, the stylist gave me the worst cut I’ve ever received (was supposed to be a simple trim). She was friendly but seemed nervous from the start. I am not one to judge someone new and young as I know everyone has to start somewhere, however, she should not be cutting hair on her own after what I received. I called after I left, which I’ve never done, because I just couldn’t live with it. Lisa at the front desk was extremely friendly and rescheduled me to come back with a more experienced stylist a few days later. Janine, the second stylist, was very sweet and did a good job with what she had to work with; I’m sure she would’ve done a wonderful job if I had seen her initially. I still don’t feel good about my cut as it feels choppy and uneven, but I can live with it until it grows out a bit and I can go elsewhere to get it properly fixed. For the price of the cut and my experience, I will not be back and would not recommend. (Crystal Lake location).

I called in to make the appointment for perm. I asked the lady about the pricing. She gave me, I asked her is that the standard rate or do you charge length wise. She clearly said we charge standard rate no matter how lengthy or short the hair is. I called in twice just to check this cause I wanted to know what and how much I’ll be paying before coming here. Once my perm was done I was satisfied and very happy. When I got to the register the lady tells me that I have to pay double the amount that was told. Totally disappointing. I don’t mind paying that amount I just don’t like the fact that it was not told before. Unfortunately you didn’t made me your customer… you lost a good customer. Emily✨ you’re great. If I decide to come back it would be just for you. ✨✔️

Twice now (in a row) I’ve scheduled an appointment and both times I’ve gotten a last minute call cancelling my appointment because the stylist will not be in. I just don’t understand how things are not well planned out in a place of business. I’ve had to request these days off almost a month in advance to then get a call a week from my appointment cancelling. Incredibly frustrating!

This was my first time at this Salon along with my 12 yr old daughter.Our hair artist was Melanie.I told her what I wanted and she made it happen!! She reassured me it was going to look cute and it was.(mid-lengh hair to shoulder length cut).I felt like a brand new penny afterwards! Now for my daughter she wanted about 6in cut off from her long hair and one side of her head shaved(not all just some for that punk look) Melanie was asking her how she liked it and was very patient with her..The best part about my experience is how the next day I went to work an I was showerd with compliments on my new hair cut!! That’s when you know you’ve got a good hair artist!! Thank you again Melanie we will be coming back for sure!! Carissa
