Critical: Professionalism, QualityI just moved to Highland and was looking to get my nails done and saw this nail salon had a opening sign I called and asked what the wait would be if I arrived in 10 minutes and was told there was no wait. I got there no later than 10 minutes and there was two people ahead of me which was no big deal I understand you can’t predict how many people will arrive. However as the other two people are seated and I’m the only one left waiting one of the employees who had just finished a job answered the phone and I could hear the other person asking what the wait time was she said there is currently no wait and proceeded to hang up the phone after I’m assuming arranging that the customer come in. The employee sat there waiting for the customer to arrive as I too sat waiting to be helped and took her before me although I had just done the same thing prior to my arrival.When I finally got sat down I showed the gentleman who was going to do my nails at the picture attached. I told him that’s exactly how I wanted it except with the color pink (which I had chosen). He glued the nails on and asked me about the length which I okayed although they were a little shorter than the picture which I didn’t mind but when he was done gluing the acrylics to one hand, I asked him if they would become shorter once he filed them and he said no. However, they did become a LOT shorter after he filed them, also the wrong shape may I add. I told him they looked too small and he said it would be $10 additional dollars to glue on longer nails. And then said that this design would be $65 so $75 total. After seeing the shape was off too, I decided to get the nails removed and take my business somewhere else. I just moved to Highland and was looking to get my nails done and saw this nail salon had a opening sign I called and asked what the wait would be if I arrived in 10 minutes and was told there was no wait.
