Critical: ValueI have gone here before for a fine mani but when I went in today, she young woman spend two minutes pushing back cuticles and cutting them slapped on the nail polish. I literally was done everything in 8 minutes. When I complained, she said “You didn’t need much.” What the hell? I’m paying for a $20 manicure, id like some real time on my nails. Will NEVER go back. It’s sloppy and dirty. Go somewhere else to get your nails done. I have gone here before for a fine mani but when I went in today, she young woman spend two minutes pushing back cuticles and cutting them slapped on the nail polish. I literally was done everything in 8 minutes. When I complained, she said “You didn’t need much.” What the hell? I’m paying for a $20 manicure, id like some real time on my nails. Will NEVER go back. If I could give zero stars I would. My pedicure was awful. Not only did I verbalize my pain multiple times as he dug into my skin, the paint job was so horrible they had to have someone else finish painting my toenails. Nobody even apologize for the awful experience even though it was clear this was unacceptable customer service. Not to mention the decor is so outdated as well as all of the nail polish colors. You would think the facilities and customer service would be nicer in a place like Avalon. Needless to say I will never be returning to this establishment again.

ZERO STARS. NEVER GO HERE unless you want to be yelled at and spoken to extremely rudely. Horrible service. I will NEVER go back here. I had my nails done, and then I was told someone was available to paint my 3 year olds nails, waited 20 minutes to only be told they were too busy and to come back another time in a VERY rude fashion. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and not the example I teach to my daughter on how you speak to people.

I’m really disappointed with the quality of the gel manicure I received at this establishment. While the techs were very friendly and quick, my manicure has completely peeled off after only 2 days having it. Gel manicures should last at least 2 weeks!

As someone else said, if I could give ZERO stars I would! The manager (or owner- whoever she is) is deplorably rude beyond words. She got literally ENRAGED with me when I went back with my daughter to have her bikini wax done a “little more” – I told her right off, that I’d pay more and I’d t mind waiting, it was just that my daughter wasn’t paying attention at the time- she was shy to go back on so I went with her. She berated me and made me feel awful for upsetting her when I didn’t even know why! Her staff were smirking and shrugging saying “that’s just how she is”.. and then finally she threw my money at me, which I insisted she keep but again yelled at me. I can not believe she is still in business. She has no customer service skills and I will never go back.

The rates below me are from 3 years ago. I don’t know how it was run before but now 3 years later I can say it’s nothing like the comments below me. The staff here all are nice. They accommodate to your every need. All of their tools are sanitized and are kept in these little pooches .I recommend making an appointment before coming in, they tend to get really busy.
