I used to stay at this nail spot, when first opened then it was a nail and spa, you could get wax, lashes. Along with nails and feet, and drinks. Which was offered once service started. They changed owners, still went. As I kept going the service got worse and so I stopped going because I pay too much money for my nails and pedi to not get good customer service. One day I needed my nails done and for some reason couldn’t get to my nail tech, so since I lived walking distance, I thought why not, so when I first walked I noticed new workers but there was only two, a man and woman. The man looked at me up and down over his glasses not saying anything but looking like why are you here, I asked if they was still open he said no, then I walked out. The sign said they closed at 7 pm, it was like 6:20 something. A few days had passed and my nails was lifting so I wanted to get a full set. I went back again and told a woman what I wanted which was nice, she told me that they were actually the new owners as she asked me how my day was and if I had the day off. She did a great job on my toes then once I got to my nails, different experience totally. I told him that I wanted a full set he said no, and told me that if I didn’t want a full in then he could stop after he had already prepped my nails for the fill in, like filling. I was so upset, so since my nails was in this state I told him to continue, then it asked if he could do an apex since I don’t like the flat nails, he replied with that will be extra. I said What?!? Extra?!? I’ve never been charged extra for an apex. Then he replied ill do it this time, next time there will be, charge. Whether he knew or not at that time, he had already lost me as a customer he is rude, if you go I encourage you to get a pedi. Anything else opt out!

DO NOT come here. The service is horrible and the staff is rude. I waited almost half an hour just to get one broken nail fixed. Then when I was finally assisted I was rushed because the man could not find the right color of my nail saying things like “we dont have time for you”, huffing and puffing like I’m the one getting on their nerves when Im paying YOU. I used to come here all the time because Im right down the street from this place and overtime the staff just got more rude. I truly hate this place and I hope it gets shut down. If I could give this place a zero rating I WOULD.

I was wondering when I would find a good nail shop I could go to faithfully & that I KNEW would get my nails right everytime and I gotta say, Ava Nail & Spa is the place! I’ve had 3 visits so far.. one for ombre & pedi 2nd for refill and today for V shape. The techs are awesome! Not a lot of techs can get the ombre down to the T but Ava’s can, and for an inexpensive price too compared to what others may charge. Tbh I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thanks Tammy for my nails today!! & thanks to Ava Nails & spa for constantly providing amazing service!

0/10!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! This place won’t survive because they can’t do basic nail shaping. Lazy workers with attitudes. The lady became upset when I asked her why she was painting my nails LEFT to RIGHT instead of up and down. She did a very sloppy and rushed job only dipping the brush in the bottle twice for all 10 toes. Will not return!

Really nice employee’s, but their work is inconsistent each time I try them out. You know that disappointed/upset feeling you get when you pay for food you didn’t even like? That’s how I’ve felt the past few times I’ve gone. At this point I rather drive an extra 20 minutes to get the quality I like. But they are really nice & polite so I give them 3 stars for that.
