Critical: Professionalism, QualityI’m new to the area from Virginia so I began looking for a new place for nails. (To start: the culture around here is very different and I pay whatever price and travel for quality nails, hair, etc.) In my first trip here, my nails and pedicure were perfect and beautiful (pink nails with white pinky). They were very busy with it being homecoming, but still saw me anyway. I noticed the staff turning certain group of people away telling them to come back tomorrow while telling others to come back around 3 pm. That rubbed new the wrong way, but I said maybe they’re just busy at the time. I went another time and was told that I needed an appointment. Understandable, so I went elsewhere that did an ok job. No bad, but the fill barely made it 2 weeks because I let the set get so old. I make a same day appointment yesterday for a removal and a new set then later added a pedicure since they weren’t busy at 2 pm. The girl at the front started my hands and stated that my set is new. I let her know that the set was old and originally had it done in September and that she did them. First red flag: So while she is taking off my nails a regular came in…I was then passed off and told to wait in a chair for someone to continue my hands. I wish I walked out then, but I was told they’re the best in Decatur so I waited. I waited about 10 minutes while she was doing her coworkers nails. Thats cool, I want your coworker to have nice nails too ‍♀️. Last time for coffin shape, I received the clear nails which most nail shops in Richmond, VA use because it’s 2021 and it makes achieving the coffin shape easier. Second red flag: This time, I was given the dated white humpy nails. Third red flag: The technician who did my nails was very sweet, but I could tell she was still learning because she couldn’t deliver the nails I wanted originally which consists of powder and no polish. She also stated that she doesn’t know what she was doing when it came to the rhinestone nails which are gappy and inconsistent. The shape is also off compared to the last set. It looks too round for a coffin shape. The black set is what I wanted but with a plum color. But ended up doing the white with butterfly because I could tell she didn’t know what she was doing. In the end with the poorly executed nails and poorly painted gel pedicure. 3 hours of service later my total was 171. I still tipped graciously as always at any establishment, but if you’re having new employees practicing on real clients then the service should be slightly discounted. Because even the last set with the dipped nail was cheaper and much longer. would’ve been ok with 140-150 or paying the full price if the nails were executed properly. I’ve added photos of previous nails I’ve had in Virginia that cost close to the same amount and were executed perfectly every time and nails done in one hour. And they treat everyone equally regardless if you’re a regular or not. White or not. Younger or not.Services: Pedicure, Nail art, Acrylic nailsI’m new to the area from Virginia so I began looking for a new place for nails. The tech did a great job! It’s been 2 weeks and my nails are just now starting to look like they’ll need to be redone soon. I love them, great place.

Had 11:15 appt with Cindi. I waited 25 mins and someone finally took me to table and soaked my nails to remove existing nail polish. Sat there for another 42 mins alone before someone came to polish my nails. What was to take 55 mins took 2 hours! Never going there again! Manicure

This is one of thr best nail salons in the area! I drive from out of town because they are clean, friendly, and always on time with appointments. They got me in the day before my wedding and the younger gentleman at the front desk, I can’t remember his name (sorry!) Got me in quickly and did an amazing job!!! He was efficient and friendly and my nails were stunning and beautiful for all my wedding photos!

I took my mom here for Mother’s Day. I made an appointment weeks before. I felt like the pedicures were very rushed. We were in and out within 30 minutes. My moms pedicurist was very nice and friendly. Meanwhile, mine seriously never spoke a word to me, which is fine, but a smile never hurt anyone. My feet aren’t particularly dry but she didn’t even scrub my feet for more than 10 seconds and not with nearly enough pressure to do anything for my dryness. After finishing, she stands up and leaves without a word of how long I’m supposed to wait or anything. To top it off, there was polish surrounding my big toenails. I wish this experience would’ve been better, as it was to celebrate my mom.
