Critical: Cleanliness, Quality, ValueUPDATE: my gel manicure chipped THE NEXT DAY, and then 3 of my nails broke less than a week later and all the polish is coming off. The worst, and I mean absolute WORST place I’ve ever gone to get my nails done. Horrendous. Save yourself the time and money.They do NOT clean their tools and I just recieved the WORST gel manicure of my entire life. Paid $35. Not even worth $20. My nails look horrible, they’re all misshapen, they left my cuticles a disaster, and didn’t even clean the polish off my skin when she was done. I can also tell that they’re going to start peeling off already and I just left the salon. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueMy sister just got her eye brows and lip down. I walked in and she asked what service I said eye brows. She said no, no eye brows. They just lost a potential customer. Go to LOVELY NAILS in Hamden Plaza. MUCH better service and they do EVERYTHING!

Critical: Quality, ValueI went there with my family over the weekend . We all get a mani/pedi. The staff was pleasant and friendly, albeit had a hard time understanding us. I was done about 20 minutes after the rest of my family which is due to the spa pedicure I chose. I enjoyed it….until my feet skin began to peel off later when I got home. Not their fault . My body reacted to whatever they used. Ok. The reason for the 1 star. 5 hours after I left the salon, I was out shopping with my sister and I noticed the polish on my thumb nail was peeling off, like a swinging door. When I went to take it off the polish, that’s when I noticed that the polish on the rest of the nails was coming off as well. I had to physically peel the polish (which on it’s own was one of the worst manicure jobs I’ve ever seen) from the nails as all of them were cracking, peeling, smudging….after 5 hrs, and using the dryer at the salon, you’d think the polish would harden . My sister got the same type of polish and hers is fine. But whatever the guy did to my nails, well I’ll never go back. Simply awful. I didn’t go back. When I was there I found the staff spoke virtually no english. The guy had a hard time understanding me and I would have to speak to him very slowly, and more than once. For $10, I felt it wasn’t worth my time or energy to fight people who wouldn’t really understand. I just want to warm others. STAY AWAY!!I went there with my family over the weekend .
