Hayden had a genuine interest in my input and personal autonomy over my hair while we planned the cut. They helped me decide on a low taper fade, and they completed the precision barber cut effortlessly in very little time. During the fade, we discussed Hayden’s energy and reiki work, which was impressive, open and spiritual/emotional (I am not super spiritual and was still very taken by it all). Hayden offers hour long scalp massages and scalp reiki/energy sessions, and purchased sinks that were specifically comfortable for that reason. I laid The sink had a piece to support the back of the head- I have an upper back hump/deformity, and I had no idea that this was going to be the first sink I’d comfortably experience. My legs were elevated and they even asked and got me a blanket. My hair was washed and conditioned and I was given a long, generous, wayyyyy incredible scalp massage with energy/chakra cleansing. They told me I might feel lighter when I stood up, and I sure did. Hayden then styled and diffused my hair, and even stopped for a picture! (I am pictured left- color by Caiti Thomas/Luminary Hair co) the services were priced as listed on the website, and gratuity was included. I had an amazing haircut with Hayden at Anecdote! Hayden had a genuine interest in my input and personal autonomy over my hair while we planned the cut.
