This was my first time at this salon and I was pleased with the attention to service, the quality of a manicure, the offering of wine, and the politeness of the staff. This salon is owned by a husband and wife team who are friendly and talented. All of the staff do a good job and are very accommodating. It is not the production type facility that is so frequently found in college station. I highly recommend them.

I got my nails done for over a year straight strictly at Aurban Nails! I’m a waitress and very hard on my nails and theirs hold up great and don’t fall apart like most places. The husband and wife (owners) are in my opinion the best people to get acrylics done by! I recommend this place to everyone I come across.

I’ve been here three times over a four year period and wasn’t super impressed at any point. The first time I went with a friend to get pedicures. I told them I wanted the basic cheapest pedicure ($22) while my friend was getting one a step up. They brought over the parafin wax telling me it was part of the basic service but come to find out when I went to the counter to pay that it was not. We went in together and one person did both of our pedicures which wasn’t ideal but fine though they rushed through the pedicures. I went again with my mom and sister to get manicures. We had called the day before to make an appt. Well one person did all three of our nails while the other two sat and watched…what was the point of the appt? I went a third time recently by myself for a shellac manicure and regular pedicure – chose this place because it was close to work and I couldn’t get an appt at my regular place. I was ignored for a bit then finally got in the pedicure chair. I repeatedly had to tell them basic pedicure – no extras. My nails looked good and she was nice but she moved so fast that it was not a relaxing experience. Then I had the shellac done by a guy who was jumping between three customers. He worked really fast and didn’t do a good job cleaning up around my cuticles or filing my nails. The shellac looked alright on most of my nails but was lumpy on a few. It was already chipped and peeling three days later even though I was not at all rough on them. I will just keep paying the extra to go elsewhere…

Went here twice. First visit was fine as I only got a gel manicure. But second visit I got a pedicure. The technician only put one coat of polish on. She tried to tell me it was two coats but I watched her so I knew it was only one. Also it wasn’t cheap.
