This Salon is a Hidden Treasure! My daughter and her entire wedding party had hair and make-up done at Aura. My daughter is from out of town so booking an unknown salon based on reviews alone was a leap of faith. Best decision ever!! From the moment we entered the salon we were treated like royalty. Jeanne greeted us and led us to our own area. They had bagels, pastries, coffee and other goodies waiting for us. The salon is very quaint not your typical cold factory feeling. Maria did everybody’s make-up. She was absolutely delightful and a magician! The young girls of course looked gorgeous. Some of us shall we say more mature ladies presented more of a challenge which Maria was definitely up for! Brand new eyelashes for all, on to hair. Maria styled my daughters hair. She was spot on with the picture my daughter showed her. Absolutely beautiful! The rest of the Bridal Party was styled by Buddy and Lugene. They were also amazing! Everybody was beyond pleased! I had my hair done earlier by my stylist closer to my home. Lugene approached Jeanne and asker her speak to me. While she loved the style my hairdresser did she felt I needed a touch up. She proceeded to do so NO Charge!! Thank you Lugene! Some of the ladies who live closer to the salon have now found a new place for their haircare. Everyone in the shop is delightful. We spent several hours in the salon and were very well taken care of. I would highly recommend Aura. We will be back!

They made me feel so special the whole time and I left feeling beautiful. Marie is so sweet and gave me a haircut like I’ve never seen in my life before with so much volume! My hair has been so long and flat to my head lately that I needed some volume and a good cut and blow out. I am so happy to have found this salon as I am new to the area and will definitely be back! I visited this salon for the first time on my birthday and I couldn’t be happier! They made me feel so special the whole time and I left feeling beautiful. Marie is so sweet and gave me a haircut like I’ve never seen in my life before with so much volume! My hair has been so long and flat to my head lately that I needed some volume and a good cut and blow out. I am so happy to have found this salon as I am new to the area and will definitely be back! Our first pro-hairstyling since pandemic and it couldn’t have gone better! Maria completely fixed my daughter’s highlights, gave her the style of bangs she asked for, and cut beautiful layers. I knew she was happy when she got home and called her friends to tell them how nice it came out! My hair was done by Chris, who was very nice and listened to my requests. He was also attentive of my fear of “letting someone else cut my hair”, as I have been cutting, layering and dying my own hair for years and tend to not spend money on myself. I was happy with how it came out. Emma helped with every step of the process with both of our haircuts/color and was very sweet. I feel confident coming back here. I bought a Groupon deal for a cut and color and my stylist was Toni-Ann. Not only was she super friendly and funny, the service was great all around! I have very thick curly/wavy hair and always get a little nervous trying out a new salon. So I honestly wasn’t expecting to love my haircut, but I’m so happy Toni-Ann proved me wrong. I absolutely loved my cut and color! She did such a good job at cutting it evenly so that my curls lay right, even better than some of those salons that “specialize” in curly hair! I highly recommend this salon.

Ive been going to Aura for years. Chris is phenomenal at what he does. The staff is very accommodating and extremely friendly. You’re always greeted by everyone when you walk in and the hospitality from all makes you feel like you’re home. They’re unbelievable and thats why theyve been in business for over 20 years.I drive over an hour and a half to get my hair done. Its worth every second.
