If I had walked out of my appointment after the washing, this would have been 5 stars. I think my cut is even and good for the stage I am growing out my hair. I was really disappointed in my wash and dry. Too much conditioner was left in my hair and way too much product was used after the wash. My hair feels oily and weighed down. I did not like how my hair was dried and it was considered close to an “air dry”. I have zero curl definition and normally my curls form ringlets. After my appointment my hair went straight up into an elastic and I will just have to tough it out until my next wash day. I was also not impressed with how my appointment was rescheduled, but nothing was said when I arrived about why. I also sadly don’t know my stylist name since she did not introduce herself. The entire appointment felt very rushed, especially near the end. Overall, I like the cut, but with this wash and dry experience it was definitely not worth the money. This was my first appointment and probably my last at this studio.

Kristin did a fantastic job! I didn’t know my hair could look the way I wanted it to; I thought that it was too fine and not curly enough but the right cut and styling tips made all the difference! I was very skeptical that I could make it look good on my own after washing it but I was pleasantly surprised! If you are not sure how to deal with your wavy hair this is the place to go!

Sadly, I got the deva cut for curly hair. 2nd time but first from this salon. This was not a good experience- my curls looked waaay better when I walked in! She put so much goop in my hair it was crazy. Plus, the pulling on my hair during the upside down portion was super painful. Never experienced that before! I couldn’t go anywhere after because I looked awful! I will try a new salon. Sorry!

I’ve never before left a salon with my hair looking this great, and then had such amazing results when styled at home. My hair has NEVER laid so perfectly till now. Kristin took the time to thoroughly study and examine my hair, and make sure she understood the results I was looking for before she took the scissors to my hair. I have some really interesting / damaged curl pattern where some ends lay straight instead of curled. After she washed. Conditioned, styled and dried my hair, she reevaluated my hair and blended those bits that are straight. This is by far the best salon experience I’ve ever had. I have crazy curly hair that I had just about given up on. Kristin gave me a fantastic cut that gave me shape but didn’t cause me to lose a lot of length. The color is fantastic, exactly what I was looking for. The best part is I left the salon with curly hair. That never happens because I’ve never had a stylist who could figure out how to style my hair! It looked great, and Kristin taught me how to achieve the look on my own. I’m so happy I found this salon! If you have curly hair, this is the only place to go.

I got my hair cut here about 9 months ago and it was completely butchered. Maybe if you have looser curls or waves it could be a good fit. However, I have ringlet curls and the stylist didn’t understand the bounce factor of my hair and cut my beautiful midlong length hair all the way to my chin!! Even when I expressed when I just wanted a trim and that I felt that she was cutting it to short she didn’t listen to me. Just be very cautious especially if you are wanting curly layers.
