Attitudes Uptown

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueIn March, I went into Attitudes to get my hair touched up by the owner, Mona, and was extremely disappointed with the results. I showed her multiple photos before she began the hair dying process. Half way through I became concerned with the coloring since I have gotten my hair dyed countless times and showed her the photos again and asked which one my hair would look most similar to. She hesitated and realized that what she was doing was NOT like the photos I had showed her. She proceeded to bleach my hair even more (causing extreme damage and hair loss later on), dried it, forgot to cut it and curled it without asking how I wanted it to be styled. She curled it with a straightener, leaving many kinks and overall looking horrible. While paying, I alerted the stylist/owner about how I was unhappy with the color. She proceeded to make me pay for my damaged hair and I left the salon crying. I ended up having to call a stylist from another salon to help fix it. The other stylist (that I traveled one hour away to get to) was startled by the horrible job that had been done but was able to blend my hair and correct the color without causing more damage. I contacted Attitudes multiple times since the appointment and barely received any messages or calls back. They didn’t offer me a refund and my hair is extremely thin now. I am so disappointed and would highly recommend staying as far away from this salon as possible. I had box dye on my hair and the stylist made sure I was fully aware of what could happen with my hair going lighter. Thankfully she was able to break through the box dye and we got my hair pretty light the first time without having to do too much lightening and I absolutely love the way she styled it. I believe I was with Sadie and she did some cute curls at the end of my appointment and she did it faster than who I would go to before. As I just moved out to oxford and was hoping to find a stylist out here that I loved just as much as my old stylist and I wasn’t disappointed.Went in here to get a full highlight. Went in here to get a full highlight. I had box dye on my hair and the stylist made sure I was fully aware of what could happen with my hair going lighter. Thankfully she was able to break through the box dye and we got my hair pretty light the first time without having to do too much lightening and I absolutely love the way she styled it. I believe I was with Sadie and she did some cute curls at the end of my appointment and she did it faster than who I would go to before. As I just moved out to oxford and was hoping to find a stylist out here that I loved just as much as my old stylist and I wasn’t disappointed.
