Katherine is extremely knowledgeable! Her hair coloring gorgeous, she does balayage for me and root touch up! I’m never disappointed I’ve been a customer for four yrs about. Her staff Millie and Miranda are the sweetest. Everyone who leaves Atelier 22 looks amazing. Her blow outs leave my hair silky and full of life! She has Groupons for new customers and gives special deal on top of that. Highly recommend , very clean, has beverages, little goodies, hair care products, pedicures, manicures, she does make up it’s a one stop make me beautiful salon. Most of all, the ladies there listen and give you the look you are after!!! Do not walk run to atelier 22 you will never go to another salon again.

My daughter and I had hair and makeup done for my nieces wedding. Our hair and makeup was perfectly done! The salon was impeccably clean and the service was excellent. Our stylists were on point with our requests and their skills in both were exemplary!

i wouldn’t recommend this salon, and i won’t be going back. when i called for my appointment they priced me at $110 for cut & color. they said as a first time guest, i would “receive 20% off my cut which is the same as the groupon, so no need to purchase it”, so i didn’t. when i arrived i accidentally used the front door, because i didn’t know there was a designated parking lot in the rear with its own entrance. the owner was there alone who let me in and said they tell everyone who new to use the back, but they apparently forgot to tell me. i told her what i wanted, and she continued to say it was not a good idea because my hair is very fine and it will look “stringy, like strings hanging from my head”… i made the same request at other hair appointments and it was non-issue. my color did come out well, i just wanted it re-darkened fully, she used permanent color like i requested. as for cut, i didn’t have a set cut in mind so i don’t mind the results, but it’s not what we discussed and settled upon. i asked for a v-shape in the back, my hair is very long, but this is actually the most blunt cut i have ever had. this was all fine until it came to paying, and it was somehow $165. i questioned why and she explained my color was “double-process” because color was applied to my ends as well. “single-process” is apparently considered a root touch-up here. i went to beauty school and assumed double process meant two separate processes happened (example- color process, wash out, glaze/toner process, wash out- TWO things). the $165 was apparently after 20% off the cut and she knocked $10 off the color. i might as well of went to my lux salon in asbury for this price, but being i’m just cleaning up long hair and dying my hair all one color, in one-process i was looking for the $110 price range. the emailed receipt also didn’t have a breakdown, so idk if my cut was the $44 like stated over the phone, and they knew who my appointment was with at that time, because the owner worked alone all day. the salon could def use a facelift as well, lots of clutter and not much lighting (i also noticed the barbicide containers for the combs was also only halfway filled, which would only be sanitizing half of the combs inside the jar). i’m also not surprised seeing the responses from the salon on less-than-stellar reviews. i wish i saw them before i went due to the excuses and unprofessionalism, even down to the grammar and punctuation.

Horrible. Cut was uneven and color was wrong. Owner seems to be only one that knows what she is doing.
