The women were very friendly and did a great job with both my daughters hair. I even used them the previous day to remove the braids on my daughter hair and came back for them to braid it the next day. They’re professional, friendly and do a great job. Clean bathroom and nice TV to keep you entertained.

I have a love hate relationship with this salon. Much love because when I leave, the compliments are endless…and I thank you for that. Hate because they don’t do appointments. I guess over time people made appointments and never kept their slot. So getting in the chair becomes a challenge. Each stylist has their own braid style. Just ask who does what…everyone here is great. Many thank yous.

Its by appointment only which is very nice so there is no wait. I bring my daughter here who is 12. Coco is an excellent braider. The shop is clean and we were socially distant.

Used to be a nice place to go and get your hair braided haven’t been there in four years very cold feeling unfriendly now prices are very expensive I want medium sized box braids shoulder-length I was told that was going to be $210 something that I always get and used to spend $120 what’s going on, I know times are hard I offered $160 how rude they spoke to each other in their own language so I couldn’t understand them and refuse to negotiate come on now that’s just ridiculous take your money someplace else. I’m so glad Hempstead has lots of hair braiding places I will put a new update with my new place

I got my hair done today it took 31/2 hours with two people doing my hair med box braids great job this is my fourth time in a 3 year span service good $$$ reasonable. Would recommend to a friend week days.

I wanted the same braids my friend had, so she sent me here where she got hers done. The lady charged me the same price as her but gave me wayyyyyyy less braids and they were much bigger than hers. When I kept telling the lady I wanted more fullness she got an attitude and ignored me …..giving me way less than I should’ve paid for. Braids came out nice but just very sparse. Definitely not worth all the money I spent. Your better off going to Jamaica queens

Most stylist here are unprofessional and rude with the exception of 1…being Uma. She’s always polite and friendly… and she braids quickly and neatly. Whoever sits in her chair will be satisfied when she’s done. These other stylist can learn a thing or two from her. Also…The other stylist sometimes try to steal her clients by saying she’s not in just so they can get paid for that day.

HORRIBLE!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! So i went there after being recommended this place by my bestfriend to get long twist and first off the women there are rude and nasty secondly when the lady started my hair she didn’t like the length or texture and was upset my hair wasn’t washed i explained i work such long hours i didn’t have time to wash my hair but this is a salon we can wash it now I’ll pay extra so she RINSED it causing my hair to lock up which happens when black people hair get wet and not washed so this very frustrated lady decides it was best to take her blow dryer with the comb and RIP through my hair so bad i had to stop her omg you would’ve thought she hated me it was crazy my head was hurting so bad i would never forget that than i let her continue and another lady comes and starts the back while my hair lady is doing the front which is fine i thought because salons do that all the time but i was mistaken my front and back came out 2 different ways and halfway through the front lady stopped asked me to pay picked up her bags and walked outside and got ina cab i didn’t even see her call i was sitting there looking dumbfounded the lady who was doing the back finish my hair and it came out so thin because they started running out of hair and it was short because they changed the price when i got there over the phone i told them i was 5’5 and i wanted the hair to my lower back and they told me a good price than they seen me and i guess because im well kept they tripled the price the hair, style, employees, customers service, price, quality, dirty establishment, there hygiene was all bad i took the hair out week later and have never gotten twist again
