Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueFor our destination wedding in Bigfork, I couldn’t be more pleased with my wedding hair and makeup. The trial hair and makeup was a great opportunity to put my mind at ease and know what to expect on the wedding day. Andi and Michelle were warm and welcoming and magically turned my dream look into a reality- I felt like a princess. They were on time at our venue, they were funny, sweet and professional. My friends enjoyed getting their hair and makeup done and it and were thrilled with the end-product. We also had ten women come into the salon the day before the wedding for manicures and pedicures. We picked up salads from Great Harvest down the street and sipped wine and had a fabulous afternoon. Michelle was timely with all her responses. For our destination wedding in Bigfork, I couldn’t be more pleased with my wedding hair and makeup. The trial hair and makeup was a great opportunity to put my mind at ease and know what to expect on the wedding day. Andi and Michelle were warm and welcoming and magically turned my dream look into a reality- I felt like a princess. They were on time at our venue, they were funny, sweet and professional. Critical: QualityI don’t write reviews often, but this is the worst haircut I’ve ever received. My hair is fine and short, and I asked for a blunt cut and to darken my highlights a little. She completely darkened my highlights because the dye sat in too long. She was just sitting on her phone and said she would only leave it in for ten minuets, but she left it in for a good 20. I don’t write reviews often, but this is the worst haircut I’ve ever received. My hair is fine and short, and I asked for a blunt cut and to darken my highlights a little. She completely darkened my highlights because the dye sat in too long. She was just sitting on her phone and said she would only leave it in for ten minuets, but she left it in for a good 20. She is a very sweet girl…I asked how long she had been there, she responded one month…my defenses went up, I asked how long she’s been styling, almost a year, again, defenses up….BUT I amEXTREMELY HAPPY WITH MY HAIR!! Alyssa, you exceeded all of my expectations and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist in the valley…just don’t book her up so I can’t get an appointment with her!!! I have known a few of the ladies in this salon for years but because I needed a quick appointment before going on a trip, I had to “settle” for whoever was available…to most, that could be a little scary…and I am definitely one of those people! Critical: ProfessionalismI’ve been going to high end salons for 30 years and I’ve NEVER had anyone get dye on my clothes. It happened twice at astute. When I told the stylist/owner about it …. she said nothing! After the second time having my sweater ruined I decided this was not the salon for me. Positive: QualityStevie is my girl! I’m a working mom and can’t always maintain my lash extentions but no matter how many I lose, she fixes me back up and they look fantastic. It’s super inviting and comfortable, a judgement free zone! She is basically my therapist! Oh and when I was first looking to get them done, she was the most reasonably priced!
