Really nice nail tech and she did a great job waxing my eyebrows! We talked a lot, which made the time pass by and it wasn’t super awkward. They don’t do acrylic, which is fine, because that’s horrible for your nails. I got a neutral color gel polish!

I am thrilled with the results of my gel mani. Anastasia absolutely gave me the most perfect shape. Shape is what I care most about. She really took her time and it shows, they have never looked better. I am SO glad I found her. I will be prebooking my appointments out for months to make sure I can only have my nails done with her. She’s the real deal. Don’t hesitate to book with her or her assistants if quality in your manicure is what you crave.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI have never gotten a worse pedicure in the last 28 years. As I told the technician that I wasn’t happy with my pedicure (she only used a pumice stone) she proceeded to argue with me and try to sell me an up charge just to do the basics! Like smoothing out callous feet!! When I protested about the up charge she instead called her manager and wasted more of my time!! I couldn’t believe we were actually having a back and forth discussion on what the basic pedicure is and that she was ready to paint my nails with leaving my feet loook like that! I have never gotten a worse pedicure in the last 28 years. As I told the technician that I wasn’t happy with my pedicure (she only used a pumice stone) she proceeded to argue with me and try to sell me an up charge just to do the basics! I honestly don’t like leaving bad reviews for our local businesses but I also want my neighbors to know what’s going on around our neighborhood. I tried this place once – a couple years ago and was very disappointed with my daughter’s nails, the lady didn’t even shape them nor made them the same length.. so I never went back until recently because my friend goes here and was very happy with their work, so I figured why not give them a try again and it was a total disaster, I was very unhappy and disappointed again, this time I’m not planning on going back, also my friend stop going as well because she ended up getting a nail tech that we believe have no clue of what she’s doing.

Went in for the first time 2 weeks ago for a no chip mani. I have been looking for a new salon since my move north of the city, and the high reviews of of this salon led me here. I had a wonderful, relaxing experience and a great shoulder massage! The staff at Astra nails are incredibly attentive and proffessional, and my nails look great even 2 weeks later! I will certainly be going back.

Had a relaxing mani pedi at this new salon in Highwood. The staff were lovely. Emma worked wonders to recharge my winter feet and hands. The salon itself is impeccably clean. Looking forward to returning soon!
