Horrible experience. Went in for a consult to get a cyst removed, first visit had to wait almost two hours for the doctor to come in for 2minutes, barely even looked at me, the receptionist seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. For the second visit for surgery waited almost 2 hours again, also the same receptionist that seemed to be struggling, poor nurse also seemed like he had no idea what he was doing either, I could literally hear them outside the door whether they should shave my head or not and the nurse constantly kept going out of the room to basically ask what to do with me. Never got any instructions on post-op care for my incision, which being a nurse myself I was expecting more than just them telling me to take off the bandage after 2-3 days and I know that is not all. Also, I called the previous day to get a quote of how much the procedure was going to cost me and they just told me it was going to be $60, well today I got a bill of almost $400. Definitely not ever coming back, and got the sutures removed on my own.

Have gone to Davenport for many years. Staff is excellent. Natalie Jenkins APRN and DR Sergio Seche are very professional and easy to talk to.The only problem is the patient portal is never up to date for results of biopsies and there appears to be a shortage of staff at the head office where calls are received.

Wonderful experience with Associates In Dermatology. Dr. Shagalov was a wonderful surgeon, she is very thoughtful and caring. Her staff was always helpful, especially Dakota…very knowledgeable, informative, and kind. Dakota made me feel immediately at ease and for that I thank you! Dr . Shagalove’s medical team ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. I’m glad I chose Associates In Dermatology, Dr Shagalove, and her medical staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The doctor suggested three different creams and or ointments. It turned out that they all three worked for me in different ways. She had me come for a follow-up and when I did she decided that I should continue that regiment. I was able to be provided with refills without having to revisit for each refill costing me more money! I appreciate her saving me the trips as well as having to come for a visit and spend money that already know what is working as well as herself. She did a great job and I really appreciate it.

I went to see Natalie today. She was very friendly and professional. She explained everything I needed to know about what was going on. The whole staff was very friendly and professional. Yes it did take a couple weeks to get in, but it was well worth the wait. The office was very clean. I didn’t have a long wait to be seen when I got there for my appointment. I will definitely recommend this office to my friends and family.

Very nasty office staff. It has only gotten worse over the two years my spouse has been a patient. They never return a phone call. No common sense. The Natalie Jenkins is great (the two stars is for her and her assistant). After my first visit, we are looking for a new provider. The reception staff went to an ever higher degree of nastiness. So sad that this office put up with that with the amount of qualified people looking for work.

Poor experience. The assistant kept interrupting to ask questions and clarify which prescriptions she needed to put into her tablet. I also felt very rushed by the doctor. I wished it was more one on one with the doctor, make sure all my questions were answered, and there was nothing else I wanted checked out and then, outside of the room, the specifics of prescriptions should be discussed

I went for a follow up appointment to my previous appointment which was a few months before. Previous appointment I was told masks were optional since I was told by a doctor not to wear one. I received several texts concerning my 8:30 AM appointment telling me to bring id, insurance card, and credit card. I arrived at 8:15 am and spoke with the receptionist in regards to checking in and then about her mother in England. I then sat until 8:40 am until I was called in for my appointment. The assistant to the doctor takes me into a room, speaks for several minutes and then tells me to put on a paper robe. About 8:55 am the assistant comes in and asks me where is my mask. I told her I can’t wear one and she abruptly asks why not. I said because. By law, I do not have to tell her my medical reason. Receptionist comes in and tells me I have to wear one. I got up and said cancel this appointment. She refunded my money and when I said masks were optional she said rules have changed. So for 45 minutes I was ok until I went into the examining room. I even called their main office and no one will call me back. Be very wary of this office.

My appointment was scheduled for 2:10( i arrived around 1:50pm) , i waited in my car for an hour, waited in the room until 3:33 to be seen, doctor saw me and left at 3:38. Everyone was very kind and though i saw my doctor for 5 mins, he was very knowledgeable… The wait time was ridiculous.i think that if i would known that there was a wait, i would’ve been more accepting of it but I was not made aware i would wait so long to be seen and the doctor didnt spend more than 5 minutes with me… i know its a busy office but not one wants to wait this long to be seen or at least let your patient know what to expect. This was my first time here and im not sure if ill come back just yet. Thank goodness i took the day off work to be here. Way too long of a time. Currently waiting for my prescriptions in the office. I never leave reviews, but i had too much time waiting that i typed this up.. left at 4 pm

The surgical team was excellent! Natalie is a very caring & nice person. Pete (who stitch me up) is nice too. Both talkative which helped me. They kept me informed to what they were doing. Dr. Gelikman was in & out before I knew it. I highly recommend this team to anyone. Stitches are out & I’m healing well. The ones in the office are nice people too.
