I am very conflicted about my experience with the year-long hair removal package I just completed at Aspire MedSpa. On a good note, customer service and front desk experience were excellent: everyone was always courteous and willing to help. The laser process, however, was a mixed bag. I didn’t have an “assigned” technician and was scheduling sessions based on my time availability. In the end, I had probably met at least six different technicians, and my experience was very different with each of them. Some were thorough and strategic, ensuring each follicle was captured, while others ran through the treated areas as quickly as possible. For instance, in a scheduling system, “full legs” treatment is listed to last 45 minutes. There were times when I was done with the whole lower body in about 15 minutes at most. At the end of the year, I noticed very marginal changes in most of the areas I treated. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to shave after a year of treatments, but it is only accurate for my bikini area. Everything else (arms, legs, underarms, etc.) still require shaving at least two times a week. I realize that everyone is very different, and many variables play in a successful result other than a technique of an attending provider. But to note, my skin is relatively fair, and my natural hair is a rather contrasting amber tone. Ultimately, it feels like a waste of a whooping $3000. I guess I am disappointed enough to share rather intimate details publicly, but I also want to warn other customers before signing up for such significant spending and voice your concerns sooner if you feel like you are not receiving proper treatment or not seeing the results you hoped for.
