This experience was a little bit much. She did not cover me as she moved from one area to the next. I felt like she was too close to my private areas. She’s never asked if I was comfortable. My gluteus was completely exposed the entire time. At the end when I signed my receipt she kept telling me that I need to tip her 20-30%. I said no thanks you. I put a tip on the card but she still wasn’t happy with the amount I gave. She got mad an snatched the ticket off the counter.

Every time I have had a massage here the staff has been skilled, pleasant, and professional. I highly recommend Asian Healing Massage to anyone looking to relax or heal strained muscles.

My daughter and I decided to try this place because we were having lunch later next door. This was my daughter’s first massage. We were walk in and were surprised to be seen. Ijad stress and tension very bad in my upper shoulders as I own my own business. We were ushered to the back and were told to undress except our underwear. My daughter being 16 was hesitant. We both had a 60 minute massage it was ok the hot rocks was very short. My daughter did not like it.Our supprise came when we were done. I was charged on my card prior to the massage. As we were walking out I had a 20 for a tip. She said sign for card. I did without a tip knowing that would be cash. I handed the signed receipt back and attitude changed. I handed her the $20 and she said we like 20-30% tip. I was appalled never have I evet been told what to tip. She said tip 20% $15.00.

Got an appointment today on short notice. The place was very relaxing with soothing music. As a medical doctor and chiropractor, I am well versed in muscles groups and massage, and can say they did a very professional job. Pressure was perfect with her checking for feedback. Her strokes were slow and smooth the way a Swedish massage should be. Price is comparable to other establishments. I was not asked for a tip and was offered a water. My massage therapist did speak English and was very personable. My only regret was not getting her name so I could request her again next time. Definitely worth a try for anyone looking for a truly relaxing experience.

Critical: ProfessionalismMy husband and I have been here a time or two before and the massages are ok. They can be pretty rough and work too fast for a truly relaxing massage but overall it’s decent for a last minute massage. My BIGGEST complaint came after the massage though. As I was filling out the tip, the girl says “if you liked it a lot you should leave more of a tip.” I was completely taken back…I’ve never had anyone ask me to tip more especially when I was leaving a 15% tip to begin with!!! So unprofessional and rude. Not sure if they realize but a tip is “extra”. The service has been paid for and they should be grateful for anything above the service amount. And to top it off my husband is having to visit the chiropractor today because the massage pulled something in his back. Wont be back.My husband and I have been here a time or two before and the massages are ok. Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismI received a combo massage 10/9/21 for hot stone and reflexology. I chose this place because I wanted to get away from big chains and try to support local businesses. I usually go to Massage Envy. When I arrived payment was taken (minus tip)*before* services were rendered and with a sign that said 20-30% tip. That was my first red flag and I should have turned around right then. I knew this place had good reviews so I decided to proceed and give it a shot. It was just me and a male who took my payment at this time at the business. He was my technician. I was rushed in with no opportunity to pee first and just told to “take clothes off” and he motioned with his arm and shut the door. Had this been my first time getting a massage I would have been stressed and confused. The bed was not heated so I was so cold I had goosebumps and was shivering and could not relax. My technician left 5 times during my massage. Once was when a walk-in client came in and he had to speak with her. Another was when another employee came in YELLING with total disregard that he was with a client. The other 3 times were to go get supplies. He did not vocalize what he was doing. I do not believe he spoke English—or very little at best. The hot stone part of my massage was very short. I even double-checked with him that’s what I was getting because the majority of my massage was without hot stones. Maybe 10 mins did I have them. He used warmed damp towels to wipe off oil but accidentally dropped it on the floor, then used it on my back, then threw them on the floor again which was loud. He folded my underwear down so my back would be fully exposed—which I wouldn’t of had a problem with had he VOCALIZED what he was doing before touching my underwear. Again, lack of English. Lack of communication. When I asked the woman (who arrived during my massage) who took my payment to add tip who it was that was yelling and if she knew he had a client, she just said she has a loud voice and wasn’t yelling. I then suggested not scheduling clients if only one employee is present and she became noticeably annoyed and ushered me out the door. I gave two stars over one because my tech was decent, but there needs to be better training regarding “bedside manner” as we say in the medical field. Positive: ProfessionalismHave been using Asian Healing Massage for quiet some time now. Always very clean and professional. As they continue to get busier, they work hard to work you in their busy schedule to make sure the time you are there is a quality massage. Have recommended to others.
