She is professional and very well rounded, always interested in educating herself. Her techniques and style are cutting edge and already in a class of their own. It hurt when I sat in my car this morning, 8 hours later my back is still feeling great, no pain in my back or neck (I could barely turn my neck to the right) I have no need to look further for South Carolinas’ best massage therapist. If you never had an ashiatsu massage you have to experience it! By far the best kind of massage out there and to have one located in Columbia is amazing. I am in the military so I beat my body up pretty bad during the week. I always feel 10x better after my appointments with Carole who is the massage therapist. She is really about the health of her clients and the different services she offers. During our conversations (I’m a talker) she talks about the different weekend trips she goes on for continuing education.(she really cares) If you live in the area or stationed at Fort Jackson, I highly recommend you give her a try.

I found Ashiatsu Columbia on a “top 5 massage studios in columbia” search. I have always stuck with deep tissue and sports massage but had heard good things about the amount of pressure ashiatsu can apply. It was amazing, she was able to pinpoint my many trouble areas with incredible accuracy and work them out. I usually need a “heavier hand” to get the most benefit out of a massage, few places can usually deliver. Carole was able to accomplish this while also transitioning to delicate areas and applying the perfect amount t of pressure. This is my new favorite type of massage, especially for deep tissue work. I am going to make it a point to come get one from Carole whenever I am in Columbia.
