Tammy is very accommodating and fun. As for my hair, to be honest, I can’t stop looking in the mirror lol. She did an amazing job. Tammy does one on one appointments in the salon which is nice and makes you feel like the focus. I have decided Tammy will be the only person to touch my hair…ever again…like for the rest of my life. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Great atmosphere/decor, great music selection, very relaxing, definitely a vibe. Tammy is very accommodating and fun. She did a great job with my hair–I can’t believe my head doesn’t hurt! She is a very neat braider, and quick. She was professional throughout the entire experience, it was about 4.5 hours AND she put beads on the ends for me. Tammy did Fulani braids for me! She was on time, the salon is lovely, super clean and smelled wonderful. She did a great job with my hair–I can’t believe my head doesn’t hurt! Prior to my appointment, she had a virtual assessment with me to discuss my hair and scalp concerns, as well as look at my hair. We discussed the services I booked, as well as clarified the style I wanted for my hair. We also talked about the types of products I use for my hair that I feel work well. I appreciated this – I felt it set clear expectations for the appointment for both Tammy and me!I pulled up to the appointment and was pleasantly surprised to see that there is parking directly in front of the salon. Based on the pictures, it kind of looks like you might have to fight for street parking, but it was almost valet!For my hair, she used products that I mentioned during the call, or used similar products. Her rationale was that everyone’s hair is different and ultimately requires different things and she wants to use what works. As a result, she had an arsenal of products at her disposal for various concerns and hair types – i REALLY liked this anti-one-size-fits-all approach to hair that Tammy has. She also educated me on some of the products she used that I was unfamiliar with. During the appointment I took my computer and worked, she does have wifi so I was able to be online to take calls. When I wasn’t on calls, she played light music and we chatted – and all the conversation topics came up so naturally and comfortably. I really enjoyed her energy. You can’t just have any and everybody working on your hair, or touching you.How did my twists turn out? They held up well for about a week and a half and likely could have lasted longer but I had an event that I needed to rock the mane for. When I went to unravel them…. LET ME TELL YOU: the twist out was OF THE GODS. Chef’s kiss.
