They’re very warm and friendly there. I love the way that Kristen cuts my hair and it’s for a great price too. I love the organic hair products there and also the fact that they have a system that if you have their empty bottle, you could bring it back. You could get a refill and discount on it. I’m very happy with the service and the great deal that I found close to home.

**Warning! Do not let their junior stylists touch your hair!!** I had a great hair cut here by Christian in the Spring, but today I saw a different stylist and had a really bad experience. I am not picky about my hair – I have had it cut at a SuperCuts in a Walmart and been totally satisfied. Not today. I have never felt so ignored by a stylist – she cut four or five inches off of my hair when I asked for two inches off and gave me a shapeless, truly awful haircut. The owner stepped in and did what she could to make it better (she called it a “teaching moment” for the other stylist) and did not charge me for the haircut, but I was very surprised that their stylists were just learning how to cut hair – using my head for practice! Beware who you see at this salon!

Ampy is the best! She transformed my hair from being damaged, poor color and dry into soft and beautiful. She’s been especially great with her safety measures in terms of corona virus. There’s plexiglass between each chair, temperature monitoring when you come in, health surveys and everyone wears their mask and Ampy has a face shield with her mask. I felt completely safe while getting great service and a transformative haircut. If you are looking to get a haircut or color anytime and especially during COVID, Artistry salons is the place to go!

I love Ampy’s salon! The decor is fresh and current and the location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the south orange station. I always see Christian for my blow out and I always leave the salon feeling like a Vicotoria secret model with a luxerious volume blow out! The staff is so welcoming and are always happy to teach some tricks of the trade! Hazel is great, I always call last minute for a weekend styling and if there isn’t avaiblelity at the time of the call, she will keep you mind incase anything opens up. And she does CALL BACK! Give the salon a try and I’m sure you’ll keep coming back! Oh and one last thing … with the help of dry shampoo my blow outs last a week! Amazing !
