Recently I traveled to Northville for a family wedding. I booked this salon based on the many positive google reviews and their beautiful aesthetic on social media. We could not have asked for a better experience. From booking our appointment (four months in advance) to the day of styling, the process was seamless. The beauticians were professional, talented, and creative. They were up-to-date on the latest trends and procedures. To top it off, they were kind, patient, and respectful, especially the employee who worked the front desk. My sister and my grandmother had beautiful updos by Rachel, while my mother and I had our hair styled by Ella. My grandmother can be very indecisive and switched her services two or three times leading up to the event (including the day of) and Rachel never made her feel rushed. She was a pro handling an indecisive, anxious elderly woman. My mom and I had a great experience with Ella and her assistant, who are both true experts of their craft. My mom had a timeless updo with loose curls and texture. Guests could not stop complimenting her hair. I had beautiful glam waves done without any frizz, which is a true miracle for me on a rainy, humid summer day. All of our makeup was done by Bena, with whom we were also very happy with. I would recommend coming in with a few inspiration photos, as my sister ended up with a little too much makeup for her own taste. This was not Bena’s fault, my sister was unprepared and did not articulate her ideas very well. Nevertheless, we left the salon looking and feeling gorgeous inside and out with time to spare. Thank you Artiste for your part in creating our lifetime memory!

Very disappointed with our experience at Artiste Salon. We booked an appointment for my sisters wedding with Ramoinda. We heard that she was the best. When booking the appointment, we asked ramoinda specifically if she could take us at 8am. She agreed to the time and took a deposit for our appointment. Day before the wedding, I called to confirm the time/appointments and the receptionist confirmed my sister at 8am. Day of the wedding, my sister is at the salon at 8am but, no one else is there. Ramoinda did not show until 9am. An hour late! Her excuse was they normally don’t take appointments before 9am and that she has kids. If this is the case, she should have never agreed to our 8am appointment. Now my sister(the bride) was being completely rushed through her hair appointment so that she could make it to her next appointment. My sisters hair was completely flat, frizzy, curls had fallen out and two extensions were added in to only one side of her hair, making it look longer then the rest of the hair. Overall it was a horrible experience and a horrible way to treat a bride on her wedding day.

Positive: Professionalism, QualityArtiste salon is probably my favorite hair salon I have ever been to! The salon is beautiful and the staff is always so warm and welcoming to anyone coming in. The best part of the salon is definitely the hair stylists. They are truly experts in hair styling. I was lucky enough to have Raimonda as my hairstylist for my wedding. She is so sweet and did an absolutely beautiful job. My hair do lasted all day in the heat and held up perfectly throughout the night! I’m already looking forward to my next event so she can style my hair again! I have been to Ella as well, who did a bomb pony for me for my rehearsal dinner! My bridal party went to Ella and Rachel for my wedding, and they both did a perfect job! Everyone looked amazing and had long lasting hairstyles. Within only one appointment for myself, and for my mom, we have found our go-to hair girl (Ella)! Ella takes her time, pays attention to detail, and listened to exactly the kind of style my mom and I wanted. My mom has been suffering with alopecia for nearly 10+ years, so her hair is extremely thin, filled with bald spots, and there is not much hair to work with, even if adding extensions. Ella was able to make my mom’s hair look BETTER than it was pre-alopecia. We couldn’t believe it. This salon is also super professional, staff members are super sweet and friendly, and on time with appointments. I can’t wait to come back for my next event!
