I’ve been going to Artist Nails for 8+ years! Donnie, Tina, & Dah always take care of my friends, family, & me when we come in. When Donnie & Tina do my acrylic nails they are always perfect and exactly what I ask for. Dah does the most amazing pedicures with French tips. If you haven’t been here go check them out. They are like family!

I will admit they had nice service but the nails were a no. I had a bunch of nail designs I wanted to do and they said it would take a long time to do one of them and that it would be super expensive. Then I ended up getting orange French tips and they are horrible. They were uneven. She painted them so far down. I asked for square and they look more flared.

LOVE this place. They remembered me after 1 visit. I do a flower on 1 finger for my granddaughter Kealani who passed away from a horrific car accident. They’re so incredibly kind. Awesome pedicure and nails!!

l went to artist nails on friday (2-11-22) they did the worst job i’ve ever seen. l had a male nail tech most of the time and he talked to me maybe three times, my nails are all different sizes and the coffin shaped is completely undefined. When l arrived, a female was doing the removal of my old set and started commenting about the skin condition l was born with (eczema). When using the grinding tools on my nails the male started grinding one of my fingers, then continued and didn’t care to see if that was painful or anything. He got nail polish all over my fingers, l asked him to do a W because the nails are for me and my bf’s anniversary and the w looks like a five year old did it. l paid $80 for these nails, and today (2-12-22), one of my nails already broke off. l DO NOT recommend going to this place if you want a quality set of acrylics. l decided to go to this place for it to be cheaper, but it ended up being almost $30 more than it is at my normal place (flawless nails in ankeny). l will definitely be sticking to ankeny after this experience.

I love this nail salon. Professional, great service, clean, affordable, and they do an amazing job. They’ve got a great punch-card for return clients and this is the first place I’ve ever bought my own box. I’ve only gotten pedicures so I can’t speak for the nails but I’ve been very happy with each visit.

Do not come into this salon for nails : I made an appointment a day before & the moment I came into the salon & there was an immensity in the air. They gave me attitude the moment I walked in. From there they sat us down I asked for French tip. They didn’t even color my natural nail. Left hairs and scratches on the Acrylic. The lady doing it yelled at me when I told her to please thin out the shape. She grabbed my hand hard & threw my hand. From there she proceeded to yell at me in front of everyone and I told her to lower her voice it was just nails if she can paint it. She then said she will charge me extra for the paint when they were doing a full set with color on my aunt for $50 they charged me $57 and then wanted more for a full color: I denied paid my bill and my families and left. It is RIDICULOUS how they acted she went around the salon showing everyone my nails and that she did them exactly how I said. Which is false I even showed her photos. She didn’t even try to make the white more natural how I wanted. The point is DO Not go into this a nail salon unless you want people yelling at you & grabbing you in a hurtful manner. Also making you look ridiculous for asking for what you want and they can’t deliver. Bad service and even worse customer experience. Bad Bad bad she even proceeded to charge my mother extra. It was the more horrible experience I ever had. AVOID this salon.

Got a mani and pedi my toes look great and it felt like a good pedi but when the guy was doing my mani he was rushing. I feel like i couldn’t even look at the length of my nails to see if i liked them he didn’t ask if i was okay with them. I also noticed that he didnt check the nail sizes for my nails he just put glue on and saw whatever he thought fit. I was doing dip and my nails looked flat. He did not even take the time to do cuticle work and painted them poorly i had nail polish on my cuticles and sides. I dont think ill be returning i will gladly stick to the rio nail bar or lenas in waukee i paid 100$ for poor work.
