It’s been about a month and I am still really happy with my highlights. I was a new client and sat down with a last minute appointment. I said, “I want highlights, do your thing”, and she did. I was asked a series of questions and she got to work quickly and effortlessly. I didn’t feel nervous at all in her chair. I continue to get compliments and Im happy with it every day. I wasn’t expecting to be charged so much for a cut, so I had a little sticker shock, but didn’t protest because she was honestly that good with my highlights. I’d definitely go back for color or highlights.

Afroza is super sweet, my son loved his haircut, this is my 3rd time here, first couple of times were with my girls and they loved their hair cuts and my son got his first haircut here today and he was so excited he finally found someone who can cut his hair properly. We’ve been using some barbershops previously for him and he wasn’t a huge fan of their style of haircuts, so glad we found artisan hair, will definitely be back.

Went in to get a simple half updo for a wedding. I have fine curly 3a-3b hair, already had it washed and diffused so I just wanted an expert (ie not me) to pin it back, frame my face, make it pretty, hairspray, etc. I love my natural hair and wanted to showcase it with something simple and cute. I was a walk-in today for a trim & eye brow threading. I found the owner, Afroza,t be highly professional, well qualified and very creative. The salon is very clean and it looks like she only uses high end products. I believe there is no more need to go up into Hyde Park or even up north to get my hair done. Afroza is amazing! Very on trend, and in touch with the latest colors/color techniques; mushroom hair, money piece, root smudging etc. She’s a great listener and communicates very well to ensure she fully understands your vision for your hair. Prior to my appointment we exchanged pictures of what I’d like, and she made she to have all of the right colors and toners ready to go. Her color application (all over color and highlights) and the seamless blending (no streaks or line of demarcation) is truthfully the best color application I’ve ever had done- and I used to work in a high end salon! So, fellow Lithinians (or whatever we are, ha) go see Afroza and leave LOVING your hair!
