I am extremely disappointed in my experience. I usually let my best friend cut my hair but she was unavailable. I researched salons in the area and this one seemed to do amazing work. Little did I know they would put me with, what I assumed was a new tech. She was done in TEN minutes. I could’ve cried when I got to my car. My hair was so damaged like she used blunt scissors, the underneath of my hair was so much shorter than the top, one side was an inch longer than the other. How does that even happen? And to top it off it was $30, I didn’t even get it washed! I tipped her $10 because I believe in tipping well. So $40 later and I have to get my hair fixed. My hair was beautiful before this cut and now it’s an uneven, frizzy mess.

Honestly, I really wanted to love this place. I’ve heard so many wonderful things about the stylists and the place in general. But I was incredibly disappointed on several occasions. First, with an appointment that I showed up to with my daughter that was canceled with no notice. This was rescheduled (communication mishaps – it happens, no problem) for the next day. The appointment was canceled an HOUR before her time because of an unexpected COVID issue. Not the stylists fault, I understand that. But the communication with me was terrible. Fortunately, the owner, Rachel, was very kind in answering my very irritated email to her about the several canceled appointments and handled it very professionally and offered us two complimentary services to her salon when we wanted them.

They make you feel so comfortable the moment you walk in the door. I love my hair every time. Coming from someone who has had bad haircuts and didn’t trust anyone now LOVES getting my hair done. My stylist is Amy Brown. She is amazing! I love having such an amazing person do my hair. She is so fantastic at what she does and makes sure that everything is perfect. All of the stylist there are great at what they do!! The owners have done an amazing job at making sure they only have the best of the best. Would highly recommend!! Love it !! I love this salon! It was my first visit and every one was kind and friendly. Jordan cut and shaped my wedge. She used a toner on my white hair. The color looks great. She styled my wedge perfectly. The customers in the lobby all commented on how much they liked my hair. One customer in the parking lot also came up to me saying she loved my hair. l already have my next appointment scheduled. I highly recommend Artful Strands. They are all very knowledgeable about their work and care about their customers. You get pampered here!

She was the first stylist that has ever listened to me and done exactly what I asked. That first chop was about 10 inches! This past year, I had a silly string accident. My 7 year old sprayed old, liquid silly string directly in my hair. It felt as if the chemicals fried my hair. Rachel got me in the salon very quickly, and did some treatments to repair my hair. It felt fantastic! I’ve even used another one of the girls there when Rachel was busy. I feel like if SHE trusts those girls, so can I! Anytime someone asks where to go, I will forever recommend the lovely ladies at Artful Strands. There’s honestly someone there with every specialty. Blonding, texture, color, fun cuts. Had my first appointment here for a foil highlight, cut and blow dry with Jessica. She was super friendly and listened to everything I told her about what I wanted. And she delivered.
