Last weekend I got married and wanted my hair and nails done for my big day. While the nails were pristine, the hair styling was so subpar because it seemed like my stylist wasn’t listening to my wishes, and she also seemed like she was just rushing through my styling. While I said I wanted something along the lines of “loose curls,” my stylist ran with the big, vintage curls look. What really perplexed me was that she made my curls go TOWARD my face, not away from my face. My best friend who was with me had the same experience, curls toward not away from her face, so she ended up having major Elle Woods vibes, which wasn’t what she wanted at all.
