Was told I had ethnic hair that was undesirable to cut. Grass blades was how I believe it was put. Kinda gets me in the feelers a little bit even a decade later. I thought about complaining but I was told the owners love her and literally nothing would be done. Good to know. She also subsequently refused to cut my hair on further visits citing she was going on break. Yeah. Linsee was her name. Eric was amazing to me all those years and hence I never said anything.

When I walked in, a male stylist and his customer were loudly spewing bigoted opinions. Unfortunately this ended up being my stylist. Actual haircut turned out fine, but I felt very uncomfortable the whole time. He made me feel stupid when I describing what kind of cut I wanted. He also told me I was “funny” in a very judgey kind of tone. Not an appropriate way to address a customer imo.

My male stylist seemed annoyed with the fact that I was there. Reeked of cigarette smoke as well. Quickly & choppily cut my hair, I had purple tips and asked for them to be completely cut off (split ends). There was still purple in my hair when the ‘stylist’ was done. The price was super cheap so I guess you get what you pay for! Haircut
