It wasn’t a task I was looking forward to (having to find a hair stylist) because I have had some experiences in the past that made me extremely hesitant to go through the haircut experience again. And then, I found Ariel! She is a CURLY HAIR PRO, a master of her craft, and educator, and so much more. Ariel is more than culturally competent and creates such a welcoming and inviting salon experience that makes you feel seen and heard. She takes her time to really evaluate your desires but also goes above and beyond to make sure you’re fostering a healthy relationship to hair care. She’s a trove of knowledge and really wants you to look and feel your best. Ariel truly blessed my head of curls and they look fabulous! I’ve tried multiple cuts with her (which I NEVER would have done before) and feel stunning every time I leave the chair. Ariel has also helped me achieve my curly hair dream of rocking silver/gray curls and it is spectacular. Ariel understands the importance of hair as a part of one’s identity. I knew from the moment that she reached out after reading my new client questionnaire that Ariel was the curl artist for me! She does an incredible assessment of your hair regimen prior to your appointment. Her space is comfortable and clean.
