I got my hair done with Amanda and when I left, I realized it was not exactly how I wanted it so I went back and she added some highlight in the front so it is PERFECT! Would totally recommend this place to anyone- plus I love that they use Aveda’s natural and planet friendly products. I also noticed they are meticulous when it comes to cleaning after everything – the place is sparkling and the prices are right. This place is gorgeous and very accommodating- they want to give you the best experience and they deliver. I got my hair done with Amanda and when I left, I realized it was not exactly how I wanted it so I went back and she added some highlight in the front so it is PERFECT! Would totally recommend this place to anyone- plus I love that they use Aveda’s natural and planet friendly products. I look forward to my appointments at Aria! I always leave the salon and spa feeling amazing . I’m impressed every.time.. All of the ladies at Aria are so talented, friendly, professional and personable. Not to mention the salon itself is beautiful and super clean! Do yourself a favor and go see these amazing ladies, you won’t regret it!

Critical: ProfessionalismI recently moved to Marina Bay and I wanted to support the local businesses around the boardwalk. But As a new customer, I was totally disappointed from the moment I made the appointment to when I left the premises. Starting with the rude receptionist, who did not acknowledge my presence, I had to insist that she locate my appointment. Despite my informing the receptionist that I was recommended by one of the owner’s friends, and, specifically asking for the owner, I was ignored when I made eye contact with her. It gets worse… The stylist had no idea how to cut my wavy/curly hair and I had to save myself from a disaster (in fact I have to go somewhere else to repair the damage). After this terrible introduction and service, I reluctantly returned to the receptionist to pay. Their website states that first time customers receive a 15% discount on services, and I mentioned this at the time I made the appointment. This same receptionist took my initial reservation, and confirmed at that time that she was noting the discount in the calendar. Of course, when I went to pay, I was assessed the full service price. When I reminded her about the discount, she recalculated, but only as to one of the services (I had two – a coloring and a cut). I just went along at that point, but this is a very bad business practice. Overall, the one star rating is for the stylist, who tried hard, but apparently (and this goes for all of the staff I encountered) was ill-trained for her job. What a pretentious place, good for anyone who cares more about the appearance of the salon, then the attitude and skills of the staff. Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueFirst time, I went I asked for a full highlights ( she told me I have no time so I said instead of cutting and blow drying my hair please do a full highlights ) she went to check with receptionist if she had time she said no problem, I ended up with a partial highlight and had to pay for full highlights . Had to come back to finish it when I realize she didn’t do the full highlights.I still went back two months later to do again full highlights, hair cut and blow dry , I ended up with burned hair ( my hair when I brush it is getting broken in half) I have lost already a 25% of my hair in the last week. I can’t brush it because it gets stuck and I lose a quantity is not even normal . Not only that , I got a haircut ( she did it with my hair dried because she couldn’t brush it supposedly) now I understand why! My hair was burned !!! Disaster! I have the bottom layer shorter than the top one! A completely disaster!I had a very long hair , thick, brown color and amazing quality and I ended up with yellow white hair , BURNED and I might have to cut most of my hair to see if I can save part of it.Worst place !!
