Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI am deeply disappointed in what was supposed to be my first tattoo appointment. There were actually problems from day 1 with this. When I dropped off my deposit I had inquired as to how much it cost, roughly. The response from the guy was rude saying that he doesn’t know. He eventually said around $90. Note that I had already mentioned it being my first tattoo, so I wouldn’t know rates or anything. In the initial email, I sent an image of what I wanted but stated I was no artist, assuming they would have drawn something up. When I didn’t get anything back I inquired as to the process, will it be printed or free hand and that I wanted certain things parallel. (Free hand wouldn’t be an option for me.) The reply was that I should show up on time and she would have an image ready. So when I show up she says she’s running late and we can get started around 6:30 instead of 6. No big deal whatever. So I wait until 7. Now I’m a little upset about the delay as I was planning on being done by 7, but still want it done. Then she asks me what the image is. Excuse me, what?! I thought you already had an image for me. Even though it is a small image and includes letters, doesn’t mean I want it free hand nor that it doesn’t require some thought by the artist beforehand. I am deeply disappointed in what was supposed to be my first tattoo appointment. There were actually problems from day 1 with this. When I dropped off my deposit I had inquired as to how much it cost, roughly. The response from the guy was rude saying that he doesn’t know. He eventually said around $90.
