I did a brow lamination for the first time at Arch Brow Studio. I naturally have thick eyebrows but overtime I have over waxed and over plucked them. I bought different types of eyebrow gels and clear soap to get them to stay up but my hair strands are too thick. My technician was Alyce and she was very professional and personable. She answered all my questions and was careful not to over process my eyebrows. At first I was taken aback by the fullness of my eyebrows. But after combing it down a little, I actually love the results of brow lamination. I feel like I got my old eyebrows back and it has shaped my face in a more balanced way.

The courteous business thing to do when a service provider won’t be in for a scheduled service is to call/text/email/SOMETHING immediately, not wait until I drive all the way there and check-in for my appointment time and hope I’m okay with waiting for another provider to be available. I understand life happens and I’m not faulting the situation but how it was handled. My time and convenience as a customer is also important. I would have been fine with rescheduling had I not completely wasted my time and gas. Now I won’t be back.

I visited this salon 2times and was satisfied with the technician that performed the shape and tint on my brows. She was personable and pleasant explaining what she could do. I made a third appointment for a shape and henna and was very excited for this appointment however it turned into a big disappointment. My commute from work to this appointment was riddled with unexpected road construction delays making me 12 minutes late. I did call but got the young receptionist who was obnoxious with her explanation of their policy of 10 minutes considered a no call no show. I paid $82 for nothing. I do understand that a business has to protect itself but there are times for exceptions. I had been there previously early each visit so this should have been taken into consideration. The receptionist was unyielding. I will not be returning to this business. I gave a 3 because the technician was very good.

Guess I can’t be surprised after reading the 1 star reviews. It appears this studio is all about its money and not their customers. They will charge your card without your consent, take the maximum amount of time before releasing held funds, and provide you with zero communication. You WILL be charged a cancelation fee. They hold your card on file. I never canceled an appointment, but I was a victim of erroneous charges, so I CAN speak to that. After reading the reviews, it appears they will have no problem running your card if you’re late or cancel, but refuse to uphold the same standard for themselves. Shameful. I will never do business with shady people. There’s no point. There ARE good people out there who care about their customers. This studio is NOT it.

After searching for a local beauty bar, I decided to try out Arch Brow studios to get lashes. The booking was easy and I love the reminders. The staff was super friendly and helpful, I came on a Thursday afternoon so there wasn’t a wait. I got my regular classic set, I loved my lashes and booked two refills. Unfortunately the lashes have been falling off since Friday. I know it’s normal for some shedding, but by Saturday the majority of the lashes on the inner corner were gone. They’ve been falling out ever since, it looks like I have had for them three weeks instead of 3 days.

I booked brow lamination, wax, tint and lash extensions back to back at this location with the same tech. I’ve never had my eyelashes done before and I’m a bit disappointed in the experience. I definitely wish there was more communication prior to starting the process. I was booked for a hybrid set, and when asked what I wanted I said I wanted a long wispy look and then offered to show her a picture of exactly what I wanted and she actually said no and told me she knew what I meant. After I got home I realized she did not know what I meant. The look I was going for is volume, not hybrid but at the time of booking I had no idea. Had there been just a little more effort in really understanding what I wanted (if she took the opportunity to look at the picture) she could have informed me that the picture was of a volume set and maybe we could have changed the appointment and I could have skipped eyebrows and got the lashes I really wanted. While I was getting my lashes done, I got soap in my eye and the tech complained that she had been at the salon since 8:45 and was tired and hungry (at the beginning of my appointment) which made me feel super awkward and just bad for her. She was putting stuff away before she even untapped my eyes so even after I saw them I couldn’t ask her to fix or adjust anything. The brow lamination and tint I felt was overpriced. I’ve had my eyebrows micro bladed before and I’m just going to invest in that again. The lamination didn’t last at all. I’m less than 24 hours after my appointment and my brows look just about as good as they do when I tint them at home which is way cheaper than the over $100 I paid. While we were talking about my eyebrows, the tech told me she was going to do a dark blonde. My hair is brown, I use dark brown when doing my eyebrows at home, I like a more defined eyebrow. When I said I didn’t want blonde and I wanted medium brown she told me she would “take it into consideration” customer service and a little more consultation would really go a long ways here. Overall my eyelashes and eyebrows don’t look bad but I am disappointed that I booked these before going on vacation. I had higher expectations.

Had a pleasant experience for my first micro-shading session. This was the first session so they are still healing but overall I like the shape and service provided. Just can’t wait until they are healed and I get my touch up to have the final results. Microshading
